"So", Josh casually started once Aaron had left for the restrooms.
"Have you two finally made out?" He bit his lip with a smile as he asked.
"Dude, shut up", Jordan hissed at him, making not only Josh laugh, but Brendon and Tyler too. "I'm just asking!?" he chuckled, "relax."

They couldn't hear it, because of the music playing at this bar where they were for their double-date, but they could clearly see Jordan sigh. "Come on, what's holding you back?" Tyler grinned as he nudged Jordans shoulder. "He's practically eating you alive, the way he's looking at you the whole time. Don't you want something else than this awkwardness you two are in right now?"

"You should just kiss, it's nice y'know", Brendon joked. "I like kissing. I especially like making out with my boys", Brendon chuckled before he simply pulled Tyler close to him and kissed him, and Jordan just rolled his eyes and looked away.

"Will you please not give up on him yet?" Josh asked as he stood next to Aaron, washing his hands at the restroom. He had follow after him quickly to get a second to speak to Aaron alone. He was concerned Aaron might give up on his little brother, because Jordan was being all weird. Still, even after about 3 months. But there was no doubt Jordan was head over heels for this guy, and vice versa.

Aaron looked at him with a frown, pretending he didn't know what Josh was talking about, but his face showed otherwise. "He's absolutely smitten, believe me."

"You sure?" Aaron questioned carefully. "Cause damn, i've been trying. But it's like i take one tiny step closer and he takes two steps back." He shook his head with a soft smile. "Problem is he's so cute that I haven't given up yet."

Josh chuckled. "Well, good. Because he likes you a lot. He's just... bit scared i guess."
"Scared? Did i do something wrong?"
"Oh, no, that's not it." Josh thought about his words. "I don't wanna speak for him, but... Just simply ask him about it, he should tell by now." He shrugged just before they walked back.

Both smiled when they saw Jordan's face, as he hung back against the bar while Brendon and Tyler next to him were shamelessly making out.
"God, look at him", Aaron chuckled. "Too cute."
"Sorry what?" Josh asked jokingly, but eyes very much not on Jordan.

"Hey cutie", Aaron spoke only just loud enough for Jordan to hear over the music. Jordan blushed, obviously. They had separated themselves for a bit from the other three as Aaron had pulled his arm and gently guided him to some seats at the bar.
Jordan swallowed thickly as he watched Aaron carefully play with his fingers as their arms rested on the bar in front of them. Once he mustered up the courage, he bashfully looked to his side, finding Aaron's eyes already on him. As most of the time. He smiled softly, he was just so nervous... but god did he love those eyes watching him.

"I'm just gonna throw it out there", Aaron started. "I can tell you're nervous about 'this'. About me. But I just... want to know what you want from this. How do you see... I..." He thought for a second. "Your brother told me you're scared. I don't know why, and i don't want to scare you or make you nervous, i just like you."

His sentences were all over the place, but still they made perfect sense and Jordan nodded carefully. He wondered when Josh had spoken to Aaron, and what he had said. But judging what Aaron just said, he was in the dark about what and why. He felt guilty, guilty for keeping him guessing and trying for so long and not giving back anything. But, at least until now, the nerves were stronger than the guilt and he knew it was starting to be unfair towards Aaron. He needed to be honest.
