"So have you thought about all your stuff you want to bring?" Brendon asked as he put away the folded towels while Josh and Tyler changed the bedsheets. They cleaned up a bit before Brendon's parents would come over to visit.
"I cleared out closet space, and in the bathroom too. And there's plenty of space in the storage room for anything else", Josh added, but very well realizing Tyler probably wouldn't bring that much stuff.

"Oh", Tyler nodded, but without any meaning.

"I don't actually really have.. stuff?" He frowned and then shrugged. "Ay least not anything i want to bring? I mean i got some clothes, but i guess that's it? Apart from the uke ofcourse."

Both Brendon and Josh stopped what they were doing for a short second. "Nothing at all?"

Tyler shrugged again and smiled apologetic. "I think so... I mean the furniture and appliances are all with the place and trash anyway. And towels, bedsheets stuff... it's all old and worn so..."
"Yeah, there's plenty here. And we can just get new if we need", Brendon nodded gently. "Just make sure you bring everything you want or think you may want."

"I think one bag will do, to put my clothes in", Tyler chuckled slightly awkward. "I didn't bring anything really when i got there.. and didn't get any stuff really either." It had never seemed worth it to buy anything for that place, and he didn't really have money for it either. And maybe.. maybe he didn't really care to 'give' himself anything as well.

"Well, we will carry that one bag out of there, all 5 of us, because my parents insisted they wanted to help you 'move'."
All laughed, clearly visualizing how that would look. "They're too kind", Tyler sighed happily.

He couldn't believe that from today on he would never have to set a foot in that rotten apartment again. Never. From now on he would wake up here? With them.. This would be his home? It seemed so unreal.

There was so much he thought about, so much he stressed about too. It felt absolutely amazing and at the same time it was confusing. He wasn't sure yet how it would feel to live in their home. Everything here was theirs, for years. He loved being here, but he was unsure how it would feel to actually live here. Would it at some point actually start to feel as his as well?

Tomorrow, they had the whole day off, his little bit off stuff would be here and he planned on talking to them about it. No more secrets. He knew communication was one of the things key in a relationship, especially theirs, Brendon had mentioned it clearly. And he was committed to doing his absolute best to do his part in this relationship.

That also meant doing his share in the financial situation. He wasn't sure how everything would be arranged officially, apart from him changing his address to here. But he wanted to make sure he would do his part in the mortgage, groceries, maintenance, whatever was part of it. He was sure it was the only way he wouldn't feel like some sort of an intruder or 'roommate'.

He was totally startled out of his thinking when suddenly two arms snuck around his waist tightly. "I am so fucking excited", Josh confessed with a big smile. "I can't wait just for us to have our routine together here, all three. I love not having to say goodbye for a few days, i love not having to plan when to see you, i love the fact i'm gonna wake up next to the both of you every damn day. I can't wait."

"Sap", Brendon teased.
"You bet", Josh continued pecking many little kisses on Tylers cheek while the latter tried to escape. Before their playing continued the doorbell rang, indicating Brendon's parents had arrived.

"Honey, do you want to bring any of this?" Grace asked carefully as she gazed into the kitchen cabinets, finding a few plates and glasses. Tyler shook his head, answering a "no" softly. She nodded towards him with a soft smile, as she gently took his hand is hers and patted it with her other hand. "I'm so happy you're getting out of here dear, this is no place for a boy like you. It's very depressing", she spoke softly, not wanting to come across as rude.
Tyler agreed. "It's definitely not the best. But it was so much better then where i was before. An escape." He could see her sad eyes that she realized his past hadn't been good, but that she didn't know how or what. If this has been good the before must've been awful. He promised himself he'd tell them some of it one day.
He shortly looked around the place. "But yeah, i guess my life did a 180", with a little chuckle. "But last weeks i've started hating being here", he confessed. "It's a sad place", he added but smiled when he saw Brendon leaning in the doorway, silently waiting for them.
