May 28th

I can't believe my baby is graduated", Brendon smiled softly as he nudged Josh's shoulder. It had been about 10 minutes since Josh had gotten his diploma, and he immediatly looked for Brendon as soon as he got off the stage in the gym. It wasn't like there was anyone else to look for, either. Obviously his parents didnt attend, and with all the people from church around, Josh had forbidden Jordan to show up. It would only get him into trouble if they saw the brothers were still connected somehow.

"I know right..? Me neither." Josh huffed, wrapping his arms around Brendon's waist, to the older's surprise. "What's got into you?" He grinned, not used to Josh showing any affection in a public place since that day. Josh pressed his cheek against his boyfriend's chest. "I always promised myself to escape once I was graduated. I wanted my diploma before everything would change." He pulled back a bit, looking up to Brendon's damn pretty brown eyes. "Even though that didnt really work out the way I had planned, I am officially graduated now. This is my escape." He smiled softly, Brendon soon reciprocating with a bright smile. "So I decided not to care anymore, who wants to know can know. I'm done with being scared."

Brendon grinned. "Does that mean I can kiss you right now, right here?" Josh didnt really have to say anything, his hands on Brendon's hips pulling him closer was enough of an answer. The second their lips met, someone behind them cleared it's throat. "Josh?"
A little annoyed their moment was disturbed Josh turned, his face soon changing into a smile. "Mr. Williams!"
The man smiled back at him and Brendon. Josh quickly nudged Brendon's side, making the older let out a silent "oh" before shaking the man's hand and introducing himself.  "Congratulations once again, Josh. I'm glad things worked out eventually. Any trouble lately with your parents?" Josh shook his head. They hadn't bothered him ever again, to his surprise really. He still just wasn't sure what to think of it. Was this really it? Or was there still more to come?
"Thank you so much for your help", Brendon replied as he pulled Josh close to his side. "I'm not sure if we would've managed otherwise, y'know, moneywise..." Mr. Williams nodded happily. "So what's the plan now?"
"Looking for a job, getting settled and then we'll see what happens. I haven't got it all planned out. But we will figure things out." He smiled softly, his cheeks coloring at him mentioning Brendon as 'us' and his one and only plan for his future. Mr. Morgan smiled at him. "I hope it will work out for you guys. If you ever need help, don't hesitate to reach out okay?" He watched Josh carefully. He nodded. "Okay. Thank you so much for everything. Really. Thank you."

"It does sound better. Makes me feel a little bit less of a perv", Brendon laughed. His ice-cold hands slid up underneath Josh's shirt. "Dude", Josh laughed, pushing Brendon's hands away from him. "How are your hands always so fucking cold? If I didn't know any better i'd think you were already dead." Brendon pouted, trying to get his hands on Josh over and over, but Josh kept swatting them away. "Get away from me!" He laughed, getting up from the couch. "No harrassing me on my 20th birthday, old man. You have to take a shower and get ready anyway, I wanna go out."

Music was loud, people were intoxicated, his friends long lost in the crowd. Or maybe they had even left. Josh didnt know, and he didnt care. He was here, Brendon was here too. He didnt exactly know where though, so when some guy put his hands on Josh's hips and started dancing with him he just let it happen. He just wanted to dance, and thats what he did. His hands in the air, everything moving on the beat drumming through his veins. The guy was goodlooking, tall, blonde. Not Brendon-handsome, but still good. They danced for a while, the guy slowly backing Josh up into the wall. Oh.
