Chapter 19

[Hello Asia I'm Back]

I am waiting for Lark to come pick me up here at the airport but he's taking too long to arrive here. It's currently almost eight in the morning. I tap my fingers to the handle of my suitcase as I wait for my brother impatiently. I've been here for almost twenty minutes ago. I texted him an hour before I land here so he doesn't have any complains.

I saw a car approaching my direction as I sigh from relief. I saw my great freaking ass brother wearing his pajamas. "You own a clothing line with good sense of fashion but here you are fetching me up with you on your pajamas." I rolled my eyes on him. "I forgot that I was going to pick you up if it weren't for dad I wouldn't be here right now." He snaps at me. "Yah you're going to pick your bed than me?" I ask as I act like I was hurt.

"Oh shut it. You're not a good actress." I entered his car I noticed the initials on the cars seats. 'L.M & Y.M' I thought I closed my eyes to remember what the initials name when it hit me. "Why did you even name the cars seat after you?" I laugh as I remember what the initials mean. "I love my name so shut up." he started to drive as I look outside.

The car stopped in front of a cafe as Lark went out of the car so I also went out. I stopped him from entering the cafe. "You're going in there wearing that?" I ask him "Nah it's okay they won't care." we entered the cafe as he let me seat down first. "Let's eat some breakfast first since I know mom wouldn't cook that much since she still doesn't know that you're here."

"Nǚshì hé xiānshēng, zhè shì nín de dìngdān/Here's your order, ma'am and sir." Someone spoke as she place the plates in front of us. I look aeay from the girl as Sienna's face came into my mind. "So tell me why are you suddenly here. You're always here before Christmas." he said as we both started to eat our food. "I came here to organize some things before my team land here. they'll be here next week with some of their family and I'm finding some places for them to live in." I answered him with half of the truth. He knows about 'her' but he doesn't know who she is and what happened days ago.

"So you're running away from her after finding her you're just going to runaway?" I didn't quite catch what he said but I do understand what he means with it. "No I just want to give her some time and also for myself."

"Travis told me everything like everything." I rolled my eyes as I took a deep breath. That little shit aish. "If I were you I should've pursue her even if that both of us had a fight." he drink his coffee up as I drink my warm milk. "But it's different she's pushing me away saying things like I should've came into her life." I complained. "I know that but if you really love her you'll do everything even if she's pushing you away. In a relationship there will always be arguments and if you can't handle even a little fight like this then both of you aren't ready yet." I sighed thinking about his words.

"Thank you." I mumbled as I smile at him. "I'm just giving back what you have given me like the last time so fight for your love." I look at my wrist watch and it was already 9:10 am. "I'll finish the contract first but I'll have my heart to only beat for her. As soon as this finish I'll be coming to have her where the both of us ready already."

We both exited the cafe after Lark paid for our food. We both enetered his car as he drives us both to our house. He stopped the car as the gate automatically opened. He parked the car beside the other cars. I went out to get my suitcase but Lark already took it and handed it to our maid. "Don't worry about your things they're already in your room. I know mom will be happy to see you." he pat my back as we both entered the house.

Nothings change the walls were still painted with a dirty white color with gold outlines. We heard some noise coming from the kitchen and we know that's probably mom. One of the maid was about to tell my mom about my arrival but Lark took care of it. I stand at the back of my mom and hug her tight. "I miss you mom." I whispered as he hastily turned around with a big smile on her face.

Mom hugged me back while sobbing a little. "Hey mom why are you crying?" I ask worriedly as I wipe her tears away. "She's just happy that you're home." Lark said out of nowhere so we turned to look at him. He was leaning at the countertop. Mom motioned him to come closer to us as she hugged the both of us as me and Lark smile at each other.

"Where do you plan to go today?" Lark asks as I lay down the bed. "Can I visit your workplace?The last time that I was there was still a year ago." I ask him since his business keeps on blooming this days. I saw an article about his company and almost laugh at it because the article said that maybe the CEO is gay that is why he/she wouldn't let the public see him/her but I also know the reason why Lark doesn't want to reveal himself yet. Let's not open up a wound and make another wound out of that.

"Then let's go cause I have meeting an hour from now." he then went out of my room. I took a quick shower after having a quick and warm shower I rummage my closet to find some clithes that I can wear. I wear a tight wight jeans and a purple pastel colored off shoulders. I took some white heels from my rack and wore it. I grab my hand bag with my phone inside.

We both entered the building as people look at us like were some couple or what. As we both arrived at the top floor Lark's secretary guided me inside Lark's office since Lark has a meeting to attend to. All the employees here doesn't know their CEO's face when in fact they always see him. Only tye guards and his secretary know who he really is.

I sit at his chair looking outside through the big glass panel in front of me. I saw how the busy road was. Cars passing by endlessly. I took my phone out to scroll down my news feed when something caught my attention. It was a photo of me and Lark together at the lobby. The article was posted only a few seconds ago. I opened the article to read it.

'The rumored CEO of L.M & Y.M is with a beautiful woman walking in. They were smiling at each other from time to time. Is the rumored CEO has a girlfriend? or Is she just a friend of him?' I silently read the article. I am not mad since I don't care on what they say. I actually find it ridiculous that they actually thought of me as Lark's girlfriend like eww he's my effin brother.
