~Daryl's POV~

I rushed into the house, Carl and Carol running behnd me.

I nearly kicked the door down going inside. I ran striaht towards her room and fell on my butt form the wet floor.

Carl snickered and walked in while Carol helped me up.

As I walked in I rubbed my butt, hurt like a bitch!

I rushed to April's side and grabbed her limp hand.

"What the f**k happened, Daryl?" she murmered, her blue eyes sparkling.

"Ya' passed out from blood loss," I said as she tried to sit up.

She groaned and flopped her head onto the pillow. I stroaked her sweaty brown locks and smirked.

"Here," I said carefully wrapping an arm around her back. As I did I felt the bumpy scars and my grin disappeared.

I totally forgot about Williams.

I helped her up and wrapped a sheet around her back so Carl didn't see them.

No one shoudl ever see the scars of someone who fought pain.

She quickly slipped a shirt on with her back to the wall. Once she was stable and had it on Carl wrapped his arms around her and gave her a gentle hug, She hugged back, a slight grin on her face.

We heard yelling from outside and rushed to the door.

Lori was hunched over and a puddle was under her feet.

Shit.

~April's POV~

I looked at everyone helping Lori into the house and a smirk crossed my face.

Even though I shouldn't have, I kinda think she deserved it. Being a slut in the apocalypse isn't good to anyone. She wobbled over to the house in the darkness and sat in the main room's bed.

I held my ribs in pain and clenched my teeth from the pain.

Lori was huffing and Rick was helping her breath.

We stood in the door for what seemed like ever and I eventually doze off into Daryl's side against the wall.

Hershel was doing everything he could and eventually the crack of dawn washed into the house.

"She can't hold on much longer Rick! She has to have a C-Section! It's the only way for both of them to survive!" Hershel yelled at Rick who was crying.

The words echoed in my head.

She wouldn't survive.

A C-Section is dangerous and we don't have all the medical supplies to do it.

Rick ran his hands through his hair and Carl began to cry. Lori pulled him close and whispered in his ear. He burst out crying and he gave his mom a big hug.

Hershel cut along the line of the old C-Section scar from Carl, Lori screaming and Rick yelling "You're killing her!"

Lori stopped wailing, shuddered, and became silent. It took a few moments but Hershel pulled a baby girl out of the stomach. He patted her tummy then gently patted and rubbed her back, making her start crying slightly.

Tears had streamed down my face and I was holding on to Daryl who was hugging me and trying to shield me from it.

I hugged tighter as Hershel wiped the baby of fluids gently. Rick was crying hard into while holding Lori's hand. Carl was clutching Rick's back and sobbing hard into his red plaid shirt.
