There had been given 2 hours to us, before we all would go in and individually vote out four people... seeing as we were four people too many in I-land. It all depended on who got the most votes from us that had been voted on. It was quite a pressure and a mental game. All you could do now were trying to make a good impression beside your performance.

Upon arriving we had all explored the place before all ending up seated in the common room of the second floor together, in one big circle, either in the couches or chairs we had pulled over. I had kept close to Sunoo ever since that small thing in the egg, and he seemed to already like me too, so now it actually seemed like I had gotten a good friend out of this. All just because I found him comfortable to be around.

Many of the boys were quiet and silent, and many didn't dare talk. So in a matter of moments the idea of eating the food, that stood prepared, in the kitchen had been agreed on, as if to ease the tension, and soon they all stood gathered about the kitchen table together and finally speaking. I silently sat and watched the boys from afar with a small smile in amusement, seeing how they suddenly got so chatty the moment they all had some food in hand.

"Yah! Choi Jiyeon! Get yourself over here and taste these macaroons!" Sunoo yelled out after me, I let out a small laugh and got up from my seat before walking over and taking the macaroon he had extended towards me. One small bite from the macaroon and it immediately reminded me of a bad knockoff of my mom.

"Ah... it lacks sugar," I complained at him as he just stared at me in shock, with widened eyes.

"What are you? Some baking guru?" he questioned me with sass in his voice.

"No. My mom's a baker," I shook my head at him as I finished the macaroon, despite my critique.

"Does anyone here know how to cook?" someone called out and two boys who looked quite a bit alike, the only difference must be their age, both called out that they did in fact know how to cook. I believe their names were Jay and Daniel, both foreigners then... probably. Either that or their stage names were just foreign for some reason.

"If your mom's a baker, don't you know how to cook?" Sunoo questioned me and I shrugged.

"I mean... I do... but I have never cooked any Korean meals," I explained to him quite calmly.

"Jiyeon cooks foreign food!" Sunoo yelled out making me hit his arm and glare up at him, feeling very betrayed. But I still liked him nonetheless, the fact we're already slowly bickering just meant we were getting closer in a way.

"What was that for?" I complained to him making him just sheepishly grin down at me. I shook my head and rolled my eyes at him before just smiling at him once more.

"Are you not Korean?" a boy widened his eyes at me, I believe his name was Sungchul.

"Ethnically I am... partially," I nodded, "but I only lived here for a total of about a year."

"But your Korean is so good," he pointed out to me and I waved my hand at him in denial as I shook my head at him.

"I'm very bad at reading and writing hangul," I pointed out, "you won't want me to read or write anything for you."

"How bad are you though?" Sunoo questioned with a small laugh.

"I wrote my name wrong in my contract," I calmly told him making him snort loudly, "and then they told me to write it Romanized afterwards, because they couldn't use a wrong name for anything."

"Oh... you're really bad then," he pointed out and I nodded in acceptance of how much I still had to study.

"They also told me... that whenever there would be written hangul anywhere, there will be a smaller English translation in the bottom, except for lyrics, just so I also would be able to read it," I pointed out to him making him laugh at me, "and now that I've said it I realize how terribly embarrassing it is."
