nami rested in her room as she chatted with sakura.
a few days had passed ever since the first training session, and naruto and sasuke has been training nonstop. neither of them seemed to get it, but it was simple for nami and sakura.
they had perfect chakra control.

the girl headed outside to meet up with the boys once again.
she sighed and smiled. though nami knew very little about naruto, she was proud to see him train.

"nami, i want you to practice using your shikatsugan."
kakashi stated. though very little was known about the eye, he was one of the few to know about it.
"explore it as much as you can."

nami nodded and activated her shikatsugan.
she began looking around and realized the advantages of the eye. nami could see the chakra points of everyone around her, but she could also see more than usual. she could see much more distant than usual.
the shikatsugan basically functioned as a byakugan in this case, except she did not have 360 vision.

"sensei, do you think i could request to train with the hyuga once we get back?"
nami asked her teacher. she knew it was smarter to do so.

kakashi took note of her request and nodded.
"i'll talk to the hokage."

"nami-chan!"
naruto exclaimed as he threw his tired body to nami.

"naruto, you shouldn't tire yourself out too much."
nami told the boy in a motherly way.

"nami, i need to get strong so one day i'll become hokage!"
naruto said. nami laughed and smiled.

"i'm sure you'll become hokage. i'm going to bet seventh, like my lucky number 7!"

night arrived and most of team 7 was done eating and in their room.
naruto was still out training, which began worrying nami, but she let it somewhat slide. sakura was asleep under her blankets, but nami couldn't get any sleep.

the door opened, revealing a dark haired boy with a towel around his neck. sasuke was dressed in shorts and a black tee with the uchiha crest on it. a towel caught the water droplets that fell from his duckbutt hair.

"oi, sasuke."
nami said in a soft voice.

"hn,"
sasuke replied. he was in no mood to talk as jealousy grew in him. naruto was catching up to him, and sasuke didn't like that.

nami stood up and dragged sasuke out of the house, being as silent as possible. the two of them sat about 30 meters away from the house. it was near the bridge that was nearly done by now.

"you said you wanted to kill someone."
nami said. she pulled her knees close to her and hid her face deeply.

"what about it?"
sasuke asked. his voice was low and quiet.

"who is it?"
nami asked the boy.
"i want you to tell me."

sasuke sighed. he couldn't say no to nami.
"my brother, uchiha itachi."

nami began staring at sasuke.
the name itachi was struck in her mind, but she didn't remember from where. the only uchiha that stayed in her heart was uchiha shisui.

"was he a close friend of shisui?"
nami asked to get rid of the wonder.

sasuke nodded.
"itachi and shisui were close. they'd always train together, along with this kid. itachi always talked about him. itachi refereed ti him as a prodigy and a wonderful boy."

"her, it's a her. that kid is me."
nami corrected the uchiha.

"hn,"
sasuke looked up at the sky. the stars were twinkling, and nami's eyes seemed to shine, despite her shikatsugan being dis activated.

"it's a wonder we didn't meet sooner, isn't it?"
nami suggested, but she looked over at sasuke and noticed he wasn't in any mood to talk.

"what are you two doing outside?"
kakashi's voice was heard from behind them. nami looked at the older man and frowned.

"don't know..."

"hurry back inside, i wouldn't want the two of you to catch a cold. we'll most likely head back tomorrow. the bridge is almost done."
kakashi said. he led the way back to the house and stayed quiet the rest of the way there. the genin has no idea, but kakashi was listening to their entire conversation.

"good night, sensei..."

"itachi, tell me about the namikaze."
pain ordered itachi.

itachi and kisame had arrived to the akatsuki hideout just to be locked into pain's office for a chat. it was expected, yet it still caught them off guard for some reason.

"she unlocked the shikatsugan, but she's still a rookie."
itachi said briefly to his boss. pain nodded and turned to kisame.

"it's best to wait a bit longer to take her. anytime after the chunin exams should be fine."

"i want nami in my office within 7 months. if you fail to do so, there will be consequences."

"there's no need to chase for nami. nami will simply hand herself over,"
itachi said as he began walking to the door.
"nami hates the leaf. she belongs with us."

also, wow! a proper update!

so, i hate this zabuza thing cuz my mind is blurry af and i don't wanna rewtch anything.

the story will get better after this zabuza/ first mission thing.
and yea, the akatsuki will play a huge role to nami's character, mainly cuz i want obito to be in the story.
