nami lazily sat on the nearly built bridge while the rets of team 7 began helping tazuna out on the bridge. naruto was nowhere to be seen. he was still inside, resting, after being out the whole night.

the namikaze admired the uzumaki.
he was always trying his best at everything he did, even if it didn't always mean that he would succeed. either way, nami admired him.
she wanted to be like the future hokage uzumaki naruto.

"nami, will you help us out?"
kakashi asked the young girl as he began moving bricks from one side to the other.

"no"

a sigh escaped kakashi's lips.
he didn't know what he was going to do with the girl.

as the day kept moving, fog began to slowly build up.
by noon, it was hard as hell to see 5 meters ahead of you and the gang took a break, though kakashi didn't seem completely at ease.

"kashi-sensei, you ok?"
nami asked the man, but she failed to get his attention.
"sensei!"

"uh? oh, yea..."
kakashi said, but he fooled no one, especially not nami.
"zabuza... he's alive... and he's near..."
he whispered in nami's ear so that sasuke and sakura couldn't hear a word.

"...but how?"
nami asked in a quiet voice.

kakashi simple shook his head. he had no clue.
"nami, whatever you do, do not use your shikatsugan."
kakashi warmed the girl.

nami nodded and sighed.
she was water potential.

rustling came from trees around the group and nami jumped to her feet, observing the area.

"sakura, sasuke, nami, i want you to guard tazuna. do not get in battle."
kakashi said as he lifted his headband in case he needed to use his sharingan.

nami and sasuke guarded tazuna's sides while sakura guarded the front.
though the bridge was close to being done, the few had no idea what would happen.

a heated fight began between kakashi and zabuza, but another figure approached on the bridge. before them stood a beautiful woman, or at least they thought she was a woman.

"haku, destroy them!"
zabuza ordered the man.
sasuke took initiative and ran off to fight the man before them, but nami couldn't watch.

she closed her eyes and waited.

i want to say that i forgot basically the whole zabuza haku shet
all i remember is that they both died

so the next chapter is going to suck and there will be no fight scene for now. the fights will happen in the chunin exams and after that.

basically, what i'm trying to say is that i'm going to disappoint y'all in the next chapters but i'll try not to in the ones after that.
