second part begins

the second phase of the chunin exams had begun and team 7 was not prepared.

"nami, are we far from the centre of the forest?"
naruto whined as usual.

"naruto, my shikatsugan isn't that advanced. it can't function like the byakugan, meaning i can't see far enough into the forest."
nami and team 7 were walking through the forest to save their energy for the nights to come. nami was the one in charge of the scroll for today, as they all voted for her.

"well, why can't you try? you're basically a god with the shikatsugan!"
naruto asked once again.

nami took a deep breath.
"naruto, the shikatsugan may be a blessing, but it's also a curse. it brings hatred, which is what makes you stronger while using it. i don't want to you it though. i want to train to get my power."

"alright, nami!"
naruto said. the 4 were walking in a straight line, in search for a place where they could gather food.

"but something i can do and will continue doing is look peoples' thoughts and see what they think and dream about. ya' know, you guys are kinda nasty."

the three froze with an odd look on their face.

sasuke's cheeks turned red as he got exposed. the boy had begun having a crush on the namikaze and he had interesting fantasies as he sang to her and was the most romantic man he could be.

sakura's thoughts were much dirtier than sasuke's. she had managed to find her dad's magazines and that's when her fantasies became 18+
as her crush on nami and sasuke increased by the minute, she'd often have lewd thoughts about the two. she even once had a dream of a threesome with them and she couldn't help but wonder what was under the namikaze's clothes.

naruto's thoughts were a mix of sakura's and sasuke.
he'd often dream about women as the boy was hitting puberty. naruto had taken an interest to sasuke, and a tiny one on nami. he mainly thought of nami as a friend, but he'd sometimes wonder what she'd look like without her clothes on. he'd have lewd dreams on sakura and sometimes even sasuke. he'd dream about dates they could have, but he also thought about how it would be like if he had a proper family.

"just kidding!"
the namikaze exclaimed.
"but according to your reactions, you guys do have dirty dreams. y'all are nasty as fuck."

"wait, that spot near the river looks like a good place to spend the night"
sakura said to change the topic. the 4 ran over to the area and nodded.
they all sat down, except for nami who laid on the grass with her head on naruto's lap, making sakura and sasuke jealous.
feeling sasuke and sakura staring, nami got up.

"sasuke and i will go and gather some food. create a fire while you're at it. i've survived in the forest a while attempting my escapes so i can make some food."

"alright! naruto, let's gather some rocks and wood."
sakura said. she seemed to accept the fact that she was stuck with naruto, getting the boy fired up and ready to help out.

"if the two of us don't come back within 3 hours then come look for us."
the girl said before spring out the area and into the trees with sasuke right behind her. plenty of time had passed since they stepped foot into the forest and the sky was getting darker and darker. they needed to prepare now to survive.

"nami, wait up."
sasuke said quietly, but loud enough for nami to hear.

"sasuke, we need to hurry and find food."
the girl said. she stopped near a tree and allowed sasuke to fully catch up to her, even though he was only a few meters behind her.

"we have three hours to do so. we can't make too much noise so walking it best." the uchiha said, but he really just wanted to spend time with the blonde.

"you have a good point. you're kind of smart, uchiha."
the namikaze exclaimed. she shot sasuke one of her signature smiles, making the uchiha blush.

it was now sasuke's turn to act up. if he wanted to play an important role in the girl's life, he had to start now.
"nami, hold my hand so we don't get lost."

"huh? alright..."
nami moved closer to sasuke and held his hand as the two got closer and closer to the river. they could hear the water moving and headed in the direction the sound was coming from.

"nami, do you like someone?"
sasuke asked quietly.

surprised by the sudden question, the blonde began blushing.
"i mean... there is this really cute person in team 8..."

sasuke didn't know how to react. he was bummed that he wasn't the one she liked, but relieved it wasn't someone in his team. sasuke could always win her over.
"who is it?"

"hinata-chan is really cute, but a bit too shy and quiet. i have a feeling she has a crush on my naruto, but i'm not quite sure yet. there's kiba with akamaru, but he's really loud. i do admit that he'd hot though. and then there's shino. shino is like, strong with his bugs and he's quiet and chill. he's a mysterious person and i do think he's cute."

all sasuke could do as his already shattered heart shattered even more was squeeze the namikaze's hand tightly. he wasn't going to let go.
