Hailee's POV.
I'm home now. It is 9 p.m. and I'm at Noah's. I came to pick Jack up.
Grayson kissed me goodbye and left with Ethan when he took me at Noah's house.
"I'm ready" Chloe says. When I came here she said that she had to tell me something important.
We decided to have dinner at my house since Kylie called me and told me to go home with all of them because she cooked dinner...she tried to cook dinner for the first time and wanted us to taste it.
"Where's Noah?" I ask with Jack's backpack on my shoulder.

I missed the Way Jack hugs me.
He is my little man...I saw him grow up, I took him at his first day of school, I changed his diapers, I saw him making his first steps and held his hand when it was hard for him, I helped him do his first drawing, I saw him fall and I helped him stand back up and there is nothing that could make me happier than seeing him happy because, when he smiles, my world has a different shade of darkness.
He is my only family and his hugs are the heat that warms up my body.

I look at him waiting for Noah and Chloe.
He's so pure and I really don't want him to be affected by all the shit that I have in my head.

"he's coming" Chloe answers my question.
"you're making me nervous, can't you just tell me your secret now?" I say impatient.
"no, I also have to tell that to Kylie"
I nod my head and decide to wait for her to tell us.
"how are you?" I say to Jack while he looks at me.
"great, Chloe knows how to play football now" he smiles at me.
"that must've been hard for you to teach her" I joke.
"oh, that was!!" he jokes, looking at Chloe.
"hey, you're hurting my feelings" she pretends to be hurt.
"but you are great now" he makes it up to her.
Chloe gets on her knees and kisses him all over his face.
"I love you" she says to him.
She said those three words.

"I'm ready!" Noah screams, running outside.
We wait for him to unlock the car and once we are done we leave.

*at home*
I open the front door while Noah holds my legguage.
"Kylie" I scream.
The music is so damn loud and I am sure she can't hear us "we are home" I say even if she won't hear me.
As I knew...she didn't hear me.
A robber could break in and she wouldn't notice.

I head towards the kitchen and she's not there. The kitchen is a while mess though.
'she'll never change' I think to myself, smiling.
Maybe she's in the dining room since it is time for dinner, even if we never use that room.
I turn around and see the lights of the room on. She's dancing to the song *backpack* by Justin Bieber, while she places all the plates on the big table.
I walk towards her and just rest my shoulder on the door frame.
She keeps on dancing before she notices me standing there.
She jumps, placing a hand on her heart.
I smile at her reaction and she takes the remote to stop the music.
"you scared the shit out of me"
She's wearing a pink pijama, with a blue Adidas unzipped sweater and green socks. She looks so goofy.
I scan her outfit once again and start laughing all of a sudden.
"what??" she says confused.
"nah, nothing" I rise my eyebrows.
"come on! What are you laughing at?"
"the best part of your outfit" I look at her feet. She moves her eyes from my face to her feet.
"the duck slippers" I finish my sentence.
She gives me a killer look and I rise my arms in defense.

"what did you prepare?" I change the subject.
"for me to know, for you to eat" she smiles.
I smile back at her and start leaving the room.
"heeyy" Kylie screams as I hear her feet reach the door frame that held me a moment before.
I turn around before I could walk up the stairs and look at her.
"it is good to have you back" she says, nearly whispering it.

Me and Kylie never had that movie type of friendship.
We hugged eachother only on our birthdays. Twice a year.
We never said to eachother those three empty words.
She actually did it one time. We argued for the first serious time and after she said that phrase our friendship was not the same anymore. She knew that those words meant everything but a good feeling to me and she knew that I didn't want her to say them to me, but she did it anyways.
She's an important part of my life but I'll never say that to her. She knows it.
I never did that with my brother's and I won't start doing it now.
