When Darkness Falls

Just A Few More Minutes

"Dan wake up! Its already after twelve, you nerd." Phil's voice rings through my newly awakened ears as he shakes my shoulders, violently trying to get me to wake up.

I let out a loud groan and try to roll over the other way, but instead, he ends up jumping on top of me and nuzzling his face into my neck. "Dan!" He giggles, his warm breath lingering against the sensitive skin of my neck. Chills run down my spine at the feel of it.

"Please Phil," I groan, trying my very hardest to act displeased with the situation. "Just let me sleep." I let my eyes open just enough to barely be able to see Phil's face lingering right above mine, a huge smile showing across his semi-blurry features. He looks gorgeous actually. His bed hair falling messily against his face that was still worn and tired looking despite his excited mood.

The smile only grows when I say that though. "Nope. I'm awake, and I don't want to waste a second of time with you." He leans down and quickly pecks my lips sending a fit of butterflies erupting into my stomach. Oh the things he could do to me.

Its rather amazing how the atmosphere has changed around us in just a matter of one night. Before last night, we were ignoring each other and I thought he hated me. Now we're here snuggled up in his bed, which by the way is entirely more comfortable with Phil pressed against me like that.

I can't help a smile come across my face when he pulls away with a cheeky grin on his. "You're super cute when you're just waking up by the way. I don't know how I haven't noticed it before." He giggles down at me with such an adorable look it was almost impossible not to smile even wider at him. He is my whole world. I love him.

"That's okay." I say with my raspy morning voice.

His eyes light up again, and before i can ask why, he's looking away and blushing deeply. "Also completely in love with your morning voice as well."

He's so freaking awkward and adorable I think my heart may explode. Everything is so wonderful right now, even though he doesn't know about the vampire thing anymore. Oh yeah.. Well it's not like its going to be bad after he finds out again. All I have to do is tell him to remember right? Yeah..

"Your morning voice is pretty amazing too." I give him a small smile and reach up and stroke his cheek. He grins back at me and leans his head into my hand.

I let out a happy sigh and drop my hand back to my side. "Can we just cuddle and go back to sleep for another hour?" I ask with a groan, but of course I wasn't waiting for an answer. Instead, I wrap my arms around his waist and pull him down beside me. "Like this?" With a cheeky smile on my face and a giggle from him, I nuzzle my face into his shoulder and give it a small kiss.

He just giggles again and tries to move away but with no avail. I wasn't about to let him move out of my arms again. Not this time. "Dan," Phil groans. "We have to get up. My dad needs one of us to go get stuff from the store." His voice is quiet and displeased.

Well isn't that wonderful. Ruining the moment already, Shaun; thanks. "Maybe we can both go together? I can pick up some cookies or something and we can snuggle and eat cookies all day and night." Ah yes, that sounds fun. I kiss his shoulder softly, which soon leads to a trail of kisses up his neck stopping once I reach his jaw. "Well," I start with a seductive purr into his ear. "Maybe not only cuddling if that's what you'd want."

Phil lets out a shiver and leans his head back against my shoulder. The increase in his heart rate sends mine sky rocketing as well. There's just so many things I want to do with him, I can practically feel myself hardening just at the sound of it. "Phil.." I whisper breathlessly into his ear. I can feel this imaginary force tugging at me, desperately trying to get me to touch him; just touch him and be one with him. A shaky breath escapes me as I place another soft kiss on his neck. God, I just need him so much right now.
