Chapter 9

Tris pov.

I put on the blindfold unwillingly ass i hate surprises. Tobias help me to tie the back and lead me to his car. "Christina will be driving your car back to your house to park it there so don't worry about your car." He said. " where are we going? Can you tell me?" I ask him hoping he can sense that i hate surprises. "Somewhere and if i were to tell you it would not be a surprise would it." He said as a matter of fact.

After a long time of sitting in the car which seems like hours but it was only 30 minutes, Tobias told me to take the blindfold off and i see that we are at my favourite restaurant in town. I wonder how he got a seat because it is always very packed in there and the food is very expensive. I wonder how is he going to pay for the food. Wait, he is rich... haha well, i guess he can actually buy whatever he wants.

He took my hand into his hand and smile while walking into the restaurant. "2 seats for Mr Eaton" he said waiter. I look at her tag which says lauren. "Ok, follow me." She said looking at Tobias, totally ignoring me. We follow her with Tobias's arms around my waist while walking to the table. She then turn to Tobias and said "what would you like to eat?" She said obviously trying to flirt but Tobias is not realising that. I just ignore her and look at the menu. I ordered pasta and Tobias ordered the same as me.

When lauren walk away to give the orders to the kitchen, Tobias start talking to me.

After we have our lunch, when Tobias is paying for the food, lauren gave him the receipt after scribbling something onto it. Upon seeing what she had scribble on the receipt, Tobias put the receipt on the table and took my hand, telling me to put the blindfold back on once we went out of the restaurant. Just then i found out that it is my birthday today so he is giving me a birthday surprise!

After i got in the car, he drove us to our next destination. I was told to take my blindfold off and when i do that, i see that we are at my house. When i open the door, everything was pitch dark. When i on the lights everyone from school jumped out of nowhere and shouted in unison "SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

"Go change into this dress for this birthday party we planned." Christina said while pushing me upstairs while handing me the dress. I examine the dress. It is just a plain blue dress. I like it! After i change into the dress, i went out to the crazy party that my friends planned.

They are the best friends i can ever ask for. In the middle of the party, Zeke shout, standing on the table "EVERYONE WHO I DON'T KNOW GET OUT!" Everyone went home except our gang and Eric? "TRUTH OR DARE!" I shouted feeling abit high. Everyone sit in a circle and i said "Since it is my birthday, i start first!"
