Omg. When Hugo said he will court me, he's not joking. For one week he will just appear out of nowhere with food in his hands. One time na nagsasanay akong gumawa ng wine, bigla siyang sumulpot kaya may nabasag pa akong container for the fermentation process. Buti na lang at hindi nagalit yung nagtuturo sakin, well hindi talaga sila nagagalit at minsan ay nahihiya pang turuan ako.

"So here's the plan for the releasing of our new product.." sabi ko at pinamigay ang papel na hawak ko.

We have urgent meeting today because nalaman nila dad na may plano ako and they are willing to help me, at least sabi ni dad. Nung nagpaalam kasi ako ay akala niya niloloko ko lang siya pero nung nakita niya na nagsasanay ako ay tinanong na niya ako sa plan ko. At first ay umapila sila sa naisip ko lalo na si mommy kasi nasa bakasyon siya but when dad approved it, nagpatawag agad siya ng meeting. Hindi ako prepared kaya mga drafts ko pina-photocopy ko.

"Basically, it is a sparkling wine. Why did I chose this? Simple, it is for the beginners who wants to have an alcoholic drink that doesn't have a bad aftertaste." sabi ko at tumango naman ang mga directors and other employees na kasama namin.

"We've released this already but come to think of it. The sparkling wine have its maturity but people store it for maybe year or a two because they want that aroma or the fruitful taste to acknowledged them more. What if our next wine will be aged enough to have their expectations reached and drink it right a way? It is more convenient for them right? They won't need to store it for how many years just to have the taste they wanted."

May nagtaas ng kamay, Mr. Smith. Yeah, kaya pinangangalagaan siya ni mommy noon dahil isa pala siya sa directors namin. Ugh.

"We don't have much time. You already said it right? Buyers stored them for god knows when and yet you're saying that we'll release an aged wine? It's impossible!" sabi niya at tumango naman ang karamihan. Psh, I am not going to say this if I didn't think this through.

I smiled and browse at my iPad at pinakita ang solusyon sa walang kwenta niyang tanong. Bring it on!

"We will have this way, the micro-oxygenation. It is a process wherein an oxygen is having measured amounts in wine. The aim of this is to establish what color, aroma and texture we desire," sabi ko at tinignan nila yung picture kung ano iyong sinasabi ko.

"We will buy, of course, the specialized materials that needed to regulate the doses of oxygen in our wine for it to aged well. Including that micro-oxygenation will help us to improve the healthiness of the yeasts during fermentation resulting to have a better wine that storing it in dark places or cold areas."

"It will be hard for us to regulate it because we might not get our desire taste but we have 10 months to figure that out," sabi ni daddy kaya natahimik sila. "Thank you, Ms. Menezco. Do we have anything to discuss? Any questions?"

Napatingin ako sa iba na puno ng kaba. Although confident ako na sa ten months ay makukuha namin ang gusto naming lasa nung sparkling wine, eh nasa sa kanila pa rin naman ang desisyon. Nagulat ako nang lahat sila ay umiling. Omg? For real?

"We'll schedule another meeting if there are any improvements in our wine. Nevertheless, the said project will start tomorrow. Meeting adjourned," sabi ni daddy at nagtayuan na lahat at umalis.

"Congrats. First project mo and na-approved agad," napalingon ako kay Lance nang sabihin niya yun.

"Thanks," I muttered.

Magsasalita pa ata siya pero napalingon ako sa pinto ng conference room nang may kumatok. Natuwa ako nang makita si Hugo kaya niligpit ko agad gamit ko para lumapit sa kanya.

"What happened?" tanong niya nang nasa harap na niya ako.

"Approved!" masayang sabi ko at natuwa naman siya.
