Chapter 4: Dance the Night Away

"MIA!" Ethan yelled as he waited downstairs for her. There was a knock at the door, and he answered it, his parents walking in. Jenner came running to Alan, panting and excited at the sight of him as Alan pet him. "MY PARENTS ARE HERE NOW!" Ethan yelled again.

"GOOD FOR YOU, SHUT UP AND LET ME GET READY!" she yelled back, causing Ethan to pinch the bridge of his nose. 

"I thought you guys were getting ready at Ines and Zaid's place." Louise asked.

Ethan sighed, saying "We are". Then, Mia walked in, and Jenner went excitedly from Alan to Mia, running circles around them, stopping to get tons of loving pets from the two of them. Ethan was dressed in his gray sweater and sweats, and Mia was wearing her Adidas sweats with one of Ethan's old and small hoodies that she stole. 

"What took you so long?" Ethan asked, teasing her because of how long it took her.

"You can't rush the process, we can't all be perfect old men like you." she scoffed, Louise nodding in agreement as Ethan's mouth dropped in fake shock. 

"Why are you taking her side?" Ethan asked his parents.

"Because they like me better than you." Mia said, as Ethan looked back at his parents in shock.

"I'm not saying who's my favorite." Alan said, as he shook his head.

"Me neither, you can't pick a favorite between your children." Louise said, as Mia stuck her tongue out at Ethan as he rolled his eyes. 

"Okay, we'll be back tonight, you guys are welcome to stay the night." Ethan told his parents, as they nodded in agreement. 

"Alright, have fun!" Alan said as Ethan and Mia left to go to Ines and Zaid's house.

The plan for the day was pretty simple. Alan and Louise came to Ethan and Mia's apartment to watch Jenner, while Ethan and Mia would go to the wedding. They went early, since they were a bridesmaid and groomsman, and they would get ready with Ines and Zaid. The two of them were doing the traditional thing where they wouldn't see the other one before the wedding, so they would all get ready separately. There was also Ines' sister Delilah and Baz, who were also a bridesmaid and groomsman. Zaid had also forced Tobias and Aurora to come early and get ready with all of them. 

As soon as they got to the house, they went their separate ways to the different rooms where the different parties were getting ready. Aurora, Delilah, and Ines were already there, and the party started. Over on the women's side, the bridesmaids had already gotten dressed up, when they heard a knock on the door. Delilah went to answer the door, just in case it was Zaid trying to see Ines, but it was Baz.

"We need Mia." he said.

"Huh, why?" Delilah asked in confusion.

Baz lowered his voice to whisper so that only Mia and Delilah would hear, saying "Zaid's kinda freaking out, and he's not listening to any of us." 

Mia then left the room with Baz, who reached the room where the boys were getting ready. Baz did some special knock on the door, as they heard the voices of Tobias, Ethan, and Zaid.

"But I don't want to." Ethan said.

"I don't care, if I have to suffer, so do you." Zaid said. 

"Gotta listen to the groom." Tobias said, as Ethan groaned. Mia looked at Baz with a confused look on her face, as Tobias opened the door.

"Well if it isn't everyone's favorite superhero." Tobias said.

"Nice to see you too Toby." she said. "Where's Ethan?" she asked.
