Narrator's POV

"Oppa! I know you're in there. I can literally see your ceiling light under your door~" Jinyoung knocked on the door once again, showing signs of eagerness.

"Just open it, oppa," Somin mumbled and made herself busy by arranging stuff in the fridge.

Jongkook nodded nervously and opened the door for Jinyoung. Jinyoung greeted him with a bow and a pat on the back as she came in his house with a smile.

She was looking at his house until her eyes landed on Somin's back. "Oh? Somin? What are you doing here?" Somin cleared her throat and turned to face Jinyoung.

"Oh, unnie. My mom made side dishes for all the Running Man members and Jongkook oppa is the last person I'm sending these side dishes to, so here I am," She came up with a lie as she thought of Sechan's mom side dishes.

"Oh, really? Let's sit down together and eat the fried chicken I bought! I bought for Jongkook oppa and I but since you're here, let's eat together," She gave Somin a warm smile.

Somin returned back her smile and sat on the floor. There was a table in the living room, so Somin sat across Jinyoung while Jongkook was still standing, unsure which side to sit.

"Why are you not sitting, oppa?" Jinyoung asked and tapped on the empty space beside her. Jongkook glanced at Somin, who was purposely making herself busy, fiddling around with the fried chicken.

Jongkook hesitantly sat beside Jinyoung, leaving some space between them. "Somin, you should try this. It's my favourite fried chicken," Jinyoung kindly handed Somin a drumstick. Somin accepted it nicely.

Jinyoung was a kind and cheerful girl. She might seem too extreme but she's the best moodmaker in the world. That's what Somin loved about her.

"Here you go, oppa," Jinyoung handed another drumstick to Jongkook with a bright smile. "Oh, thank you," Jongkook willingly took it from her and started chewing on the chicken.

After a few seconds of silence, Jongkook voiced out. "Oh, yeah. Why are you even here?" He looked at Jinyoung who was deboning the chicken.

"After I visited your house last time, I thought that I should bring you some household items," Jinyoung pointed at a plastic bag filled with tissues, mugs and plates.

"You visited his house before?" Somin suddenly questioned, which made Jongkook coughed dramatically.

Somin glanced at him and then at Jinyoung. "Yeah, he invited me over to check out some stuff in his house. I don't even know why he asked me. I'm not an architecture or anything to inspect his house," Jinyoung answered.

"It happens. Jongkook oppa needs a lady to check if his house is neat and tidy," Somin glanced at Jongkook who seemed awkward between the two women.

"Right. He's in need of a woman other than his mom to take care of him," Jinyoung arched an eyebrow at him. Jongkook scoffed.

"Hey, I don't need a woman to take care of me. I can take care of myself," Jongkook complained, rolling his eyes.

"You? Take care of yourself? Look at you. Your face is so messy right now," Jinyoung took a tissue paper and wiped off the crumbs on Jongkook's lips.

Somin's heart was filled with jealousy but she kept quiet and gulped down her saliva. Jongkook went stiff when Jinyoung wiped off the crumbs on his lips.

He looked at Somin who seemed down and awkward. His heart leaped as he thought of the idea that Somin was jealous.

"You're such a baby, oppa," Jinyoung teased Jongkook and nudged his shoulders playfully.
He laughed nervously, glancing at Somin every 2 seconds.

After they finished their food, Somin volunteered to throw the trash away to calm her heart down. She heard chatterings and laughs as she stuffed the empty fried chicken box into the dustbin.

She sighed heavily. Her heart was beating loudly and it felt weird. It stung her heart as she reminisced the moment when Jinyoung wiped off the crumbs on Jongkook's lip.

Jinyoung was watching the TV, laughing at the programme, mumbling her reactions to Jongkook. Jongkook didn't even listened to her as his eyes was on Somin.

He watched her take out the trash and went out of the house urgently to throw it in the waste container downstairs.

"Jinyoung, I'll go buy drinks for us, okay? It'll take me only 5 minutes," Jongkook muttered as he went out without looking at Jinyoung.

Somin's POV

"Ah, why do I feel this way?" I spoke to myself while I dumped the trashbag into the waste container.

Wait. Why can't I feel this way? Right. I'm his girlfriend. I have the right to be jealous or mad. But she doesn't know anything. I can't get mad at her.

"Right..it's Jongkook oppa's fault. He's such a playboy, I just want to-" My sentence got cut off with Jongkook oppa's voice. "You just want to..what?" I turned around to see him right infront of me.

I snickered. "Why are you here? You want to get into that waste container too?" I looked away from him, pointing my finger at the waste container.

"What did you just say? Hey. I heard what you said. It's my fault? Huh? What's my fault?" Jongkook oppa argued.

It was weird arguing with him near the waste container. The fact that we were both alone, bickering near the waste container does sound disturbing.

"It's your fault that you flirt with every girls, thats why they like you," I bickered against him.

"Flirt? Since when did I do that? Don't you know that you're the one playing the playgirl role in Running Man?" He gave a good point but this was a different matter.

"Oppa, are you dumb? Me in Running Man and me in real life are two different person. While you in running man and you in real life are totally the same person," I talked back, staring into his eyes daringly.

"So what? What kind of a person I am now?" His tone showed me that he gave up on bickering with me. "How can you be so clueless?" It seemed like he didn't get what my message was. Not that I'm trying to humiliate myself but wasn't it obvious?

Jongkook's POV

I went closer to Somin and grabbed her shoulders. I leaned closer to her ears purposely. "You're jealous, aren't you?" I whispered into her ears and before she could back away, I pulled her into my embrace.

"I can't believe my girlfriend is jealous just because of that," I patted her head lovingly as she punched my sides playfully.

I chuckled at her actions. "Says the person who got jealous because of Sechan," She mumbled, placing her arms around my waist.

I pulled away from her after a few seconds and held her hands as we walked. "Oh wait. I told Jinyoung that I wanted to buy some drinks for us. You can go up first," I realised and head to the convenience store while Somin went up.

Narrator's POV

Jongkook went in his house to see Jinyoung and Somin watching the TV programme while chatting.

He placed the drinks on the table, sitting beside Somin. He grabbed a coke and gulped down the drink easily.

He burped loudly as if Somin and Jinyoung were not there. "That smells," Somin teased Jongkook, closing her nostrils with her fingers.

"Just keep quiet, will you?" He replied as Jinyoung giggled.

As they finished their drinks, Jinyoung had to leave first because of a commercial shoot. They bid farewell to each other and she went off.

Somin stretched as she walked around Jongkook's living room. "I should get going too, oppa," She glanced at the clock, showing 7.30pm.

Jongkook hid his disappointed expression and nodded bitterly. "Okay, I'll send you back home."
