Somin's POV

After a few minutes, Jongkook oppa came back with 2 plates full of kimchi fried rice. My eyes sparkled at the sight of food as I felt hungry after the shoot. He placed a plate infront of me and sat down across the table.

"I'll enjoy the food," I cheered and gobbled up the food. My head nodded as I chewed the food, savouring it. I looked at Jongkook oppa who laughed at my reaction and took a bite too.

"Delicious, right? Haha oppa really knows how to cook," I complimented Haha oppa even though he wasn't here. "It's just kimchi fried rice. You'll be shocked to see him cooking better dishes than this," Jongkook oppa said, acknowledging his close friend's skills.

"Really? That's amazing. Can you cook, oppa?" I asked him. "Well, I can cook a few dishes," He sounded unsure and took another bite of the fried rice. I nodded, gulping down water that he had given me.

"How about you? Can you cook?" He questioned me. "Actually, I'm a really good cook. I just don't talk about it much since it's like a secret hobby of mine but I'll tell only you," I bragged for a moment.

I truly enjoyed cooking and baking. I loved making Korean, Chinese and Western cuisine. Baking brownies and sponge cake is my forte. I'd give those to my nieces and nephews for their birthday everytime. I smiled, thinking about their smiles when I handed them my two forte's.

"Wow. You should cook for me, someday," He arched an eyebrow, looking surprised. Both of us had finished our meal. "Maybe," I shrugged nonchalantly, feeling tired after eating.

"Maybe? Are you reluctant to do it?" He seemed triggered by my answer. "And if I am? Why should I cook for you?" I bickered in response. "I'm just saying that who knows if I get sick one day and maybe, you can cook for me porridge," He elaborated. Such a response.

"Am I your mother?" I chuckled softly. He sighed. "Are you dumb? I thought all girlfriends do that for their partners who are sick," He argued playfully. "Oh? So your ex-girlfriends must've done that for you when you're sick," I totally took the subject to another matter.

Well, Jongkook oppa often gets a flu and it'd be tired for his mom to take care of him so it would be nice to have a girlfriend to take care of him atleast. "How does that even relate to you cooking for me someday?" He said in an annoyed tone.

"I'm just saying that you must have had your ex-girlfriends to cook for you when you're sick," I responded, glancing at my watch which showed 8pm. "Well, you're not wrong about that," He mumbled.

I raised my eyebrows. I thought it wouldn't be true but it really was. I mean, why wouldn't it be true?

Jongkook's POV

I truthfully answered after Somin said that my ex-girlfriends cooked for me, porridge, whenever I was sick. Well, some of them did. I was thankful that they did that for me but the thing was, my throat always felt worse after eating the porridge so I didn't know if the porridge was bad or I was just super sick.

I looked at Somin, who looked surprised. "What?" I asked. "Your ex-girlfriends must be nice enough to cook for you porridge when you're sick," She responded. "Isn't it normal for girls to cook for their boyfriends porridge when they're sick?" I questioned out of curiousity.

She nodded after thinking about it for a few seconds. "You cooked for your ex-boyfriends before?" She nodded once again with a smile. My eyebrows frowned at her smile. "Why are you suddenly smiling?" I pointed it out.

"I just suddenly remembered that every of my ex-boyfriends liked my cooking so it made me smile for a moment," She answered in a proud tone. "You cooked for all of your past boyfriends?" I was shocked that she'd do that.

"Why not? I think I really did my best at loving them by doing that and other stuff but I guess it didn't turned out well," She tucked in her hair behind her ear as she said that.

"It's okay. You don't need to worry this time," I confessed sincerely.

Somin's POV

My heart leaped when I heard that. I looked up to meet Jongkook oppa's eyes staring at me with a soft expression.

"Why don't I need to worry?" I asked softly. "Because it's me. Because unlike the others, I'll also try my best to love you the way you'll love me," He answered with such a cool tone. I might have died right then and there.

I smiled widely at his answer. Before I could respond, I heard Jongkook's phone ringing. He answered it with a greet. "Oh, it's your manager," He handed me the phone.

"Somin, why are you not picking up your phone? And also, how are you going to get your belongings? Your house keys are with me. I can't get to you right now because I have some matters to do," He explained, clearly busy with whatever he was doing.

I realised then, that I didn't have my house keys. And oh my gosh, my phone's dead. How the hell was I going to get back home? "Where are you?" I asked, thinking that Jongkook oppa could help me get to his destination to receive my belongings.

"I'm on my way to mother's hometown. It's impossible to get there if you want to get your stuff now. Its Busan, after all," He answered. "Huh? You're going to Busan this late?" I exclaimed. "Something happened so I'm in a rush right now. I feel bad that you don't have your house keys now. Don't you have spare keys?" He asked in a worried tone.

"I don't have spare keys, unfortunately. Where do I sleep tonight then?" I mumbled, thinking of my parents place at Goesan, which takes an hour and half to get there by car.

"You can sleep at my place," Jongkook oppa interrupted my thoughts. "Huh?" I heard my manager gasped. I glanced at Jongkook oppa before I talked to my manager. "Nevermind. Don't worry. I'll think of a place. I'll get my stuff tomorrow, okay? Goodnight," I reassured my manager before I hung up the call.

"Did you say that I can sleep at your place?" I asked, just in case I heard it wrongly. He nodded. "It seemed like you needed a place to sleep so I'm inviting you," He casually answered.

Narrator's POV

Somin thought Jongkook was crazy for inviting her to sleep at his house. But at the same time, it wasn't a bad choice for her to have a sleepover at his house.

"Okay then," Somin accepted his invitation. "Alright, let's clean up now," He stood up and went off to the kitchen to bring a rag to wipe the table.
