Chapter 17

Narrator's POV

"Well, she was cute and still is but I'm here again because I really enjoyed the activities we did last time. I felt very comfortable while I was here too," Donghae replied, rubbing the back of his nape as he confessed that Somin was still cute.

Somin made herself smiled widely to the point her cheeks started to hurt and she covered her face shyly on purpose, exaggerating her reaction. She was surprised at his answer but after all, it wasn't so heart-fluttering since she had a man.

The RM members laughed at her reaction as Eunhyuk, Yesung and Leeteuk nudged Donghae playfully.

Jaeseok took a glance at Jongkook who seemed unsettled, fidgeting with his hands and moving around. Jaeseok smiled to himself, knowing that Jongkook was jealous.

Haha, who was beside Jaeseok, seemed to have noticed too and nudged Jaeseok as they laughed to themselves.

"Somin-ah, why are you hiding behind Jihyo? Stop being shy," Haha teased Somin and kept glancing at Jongkook to see his reaction.

"No, oppa. It's just nice to see them back again," Somin giggled and tried to move away to avoid being the center of attention.

Suddenly, the atmosphere changed. "Hey, Somin. Aren't you going to work?" Jongkook voiced out, trying to make it sound like a joke but it came out as aggressive.

Somin was slightly surprised but maintained her face and laughed it off. Jaeseok and Haha arched an eyebrow at each other.

"Right...now we will get ready to play a new game," Jaeseok eased the atmosphere and introduced the new game to the Super Junior members.

After the director explained the game to the RM members and SJ (Super Junior) members, they started to pair up.

"Okay, let's decide who we should pair up with," Sukjin purposely went beside Jaeseok to annoy him. Jaeseok scoffed at his action. "Hyung, I'm sorry to say this but I don't want to be partnered up with you," He jokingly said, making everyone laughed.

"There's 12 people here including Super Junior so there should be 6 pairs," The director explained and gave them a 2 minute timer.

"Hey. You should team up with Somin," Eunhyuk whispered to Donghae, although he was slightly hesitant to let his best buddy to be partnered up with his close alumni.

Donghae raised his eyebrows. "Really? I'll secretly go then," He cleared his throat and swaggered his way towards Somin.

Somin, who was talking to Jihyo, got startled by Donghae's presence. He was suddenly beside her quietly without even speaking.

"Why are you here?" She tucked in her hair behind her ear and asked nicely. They were the same age but it felt slightly awkward.

Donghae glared at Eunhyuk who was giggling at them. "Let's be partners," He suggested. It was not even a question. Without thinking, Somin just nodded with a polite smile. It's just a game, after all.

Jihyo, who was witnessing them, smiled and approached Jongkook who was next to her. Apparently, Jongkook was busy talking to Kwangsoo until Jihyo approached him.

"Oppa, look at those two," Jihyo nudged Jongkook's shoulder and Jongkook laid his eyes on the both of them. Kwangsoo and Jihyo was smiling at the sight of them, talking and laughing with each other but Jongkook was not having any of it apparently.

He scoffed in disbelief. "Must be nice," He sarcastically said, loud enough for Somin to hear. Jihyo and Kwangsoo looked at him weirdly as Somin's head turn to see Jongkook's eyes filled with anger.
