Jongkook's POV

"I miss you," I confessed softly. I pinched my thigh to avoid myself squealing and cringing at my sudden confession. But I couldn't help it.

Is this what having a girlfriend at my age feels like? I've had quite a number girlfriends in the past, not that I'm proud of.

As I got older, I've realised the meaning of love, relationships, promises and trusts. I sought out a relationship which I can really be serious in.

"Really? Well..." She trailed off in a nervous tone, not replying back to my confession. "Hey, aren't you going to say it back?" I got annoyed when she trailed off her words.

"You're such a baby. I miss you too," She giggled. I grinned at her words and her cute giggle.

"What are you doing now? It's still afternoon," I asked. "Nothing much, I was about to take a nap until you called me," She answered.

"I must've disturbed you. Sorry. I can end the call if you still want to take a nap," I reassured Somin, although I still wanted to hear her voice.

"No, oppa. It's okay. I'm wide awake now that you called me," Although I should've felt guilty for taking away her naptime, I smiled at the fact that we could still continue our call.

"Alright then. Now that you're wide awake, what do you want to do?" I questioned her, beating around the bush.

"Oppa...you're being too obvious," She suddenly said. "What do you mean?" I asked in a confused tone although I wasn't confused at all. Looks like she caught me trying to make her invite me to a date.

"It's obvious that you want to go out on-" Her words got cut off as I heard her doorbell rang.
"Oh?" She whispered.

I got curious and waited for her to get on the line back.

Somin's POV

"Oh? Sechan-ah? What are you doing here?" I stood aside so that he could come in.

The call with Jongkook oppa was still ongoing but I got distracted when Sechan suddenly placed alot of side dishes on my kitchen counter.

Sechan sighed. "My mother did these side dishes. She asked me to hand it to you," Sechan explained.

"Really? Where is she?" I placed my phone faced down on the counter. "She's at home," Sechan's phone rang.

"Oh, it's my mom," He muttered and answered the call. He elaborated that he was at my house and he already sent me the side dishes. "She wants to talk to you," He put it on speaker and placed it beside my phone.

"Hello, Ms Hong," I greeted politely with a warm smile although she couldn't see it.

"Hello, Somin. You can just call me mother. How are you?" Ms Hong's calm voice comforted me.

"Really? I'm fine, mother. I hope you're doing well too," I gladly called her "mother" like how I called every other old women. Sechan held in his embarrassed face as I laughed softly at him.

"I hope you will enjoy my side dishes. Sechan kept resisting to send you food until I forced him to. I know we've never met but I can see you're such a sweet girl and you always take care of my incapable son. It'd be great if you would take care of my son forever," She praised me and gave an earful speech like every other mothers.

I laughed nervously at her comment of taking care of Sechan forever. Its basically an offer to marry Sechan.

I glanced at Sechan who facepalmed himself with his gums showing, which means he was embarrassed.
