Narrator's POV

As the sun shone through Somin's curtain, she woke up at 6am. The dance practice will be in 5 hours, which was a long period.

Her phone rang after she showered. Her manager's name appeared on the screen.

"Hello, manager-nim," She greet politely. "Somin, I'll be fetching you 30 minutes before practice starts, alright? Since today's schedule is only the dance practice and shooting, you can wear comfortable clothes to dance in," Her manager explained nicely.

"Okay," Somin replied sweetly and ended the call. She went out of her room and started practicing the dance steps on her own.

Somin's POV

Okay, I can do this. Not to brag but I think I'm a decent dancer. I played the music and danced carefully until the part when Jongkook oppa and I danced together.

Hold on. Something happened yesterday, right? I gasped loudly on my own and recalled my memories. I totally forgot about it.

"Ah, you fool. Why did you have to peck him so many times?" I complaint to myself and ruffled my hair messily.

Suddenly, my phone rang again. Jongkook oppa's name popped on the screen. I adjusted my voice before picking up the call.

"Good morning, Somin-ah," He greeted with a sleepy tone. I flinched, shocked when he greeted me. "Good morning to you too,oppa," I replied with such confusion. "Why do you sound so awkward?" He asked.

"You suddenly said "Good morning,Somin-ah." How am I supposed to react to that? You've always said "What are you doing now,weirdo?" So it's weird to hear that,"

I explained and imitated his voice on "Good morning,Somin-ah." and "What are you doing now,weirdo?" He laughed and I smiled as I heard him through the phone.

"Fine. Have you eaten breakfast yet?" He continued the conversation. "Oh, I actually haven't," I realised that as I answered him.

"How about you, oppa?" I asked him. "I haven't ate breakfast too," He replied with a nervous tone.

Since we've been together as a team on Running Man for awhile, I can sense his tone easily. Same with other members.

"You sound nervous, oppa," I pointed out his voice. "How? Are you secretly spying on me, Somin?" He teased me.

I laughed at his question and shooked my head. "So? Why do you sound nervous?"

Jongkook's POV

I wanted to ask her to eat with me but why was it so hard to ask? I'm not usually this shy. Or maybe, I've always been shy? Ah, whatever.

"Want to eat breakfast with me?" I clenched my fist as I asked her. I heard her laugh. "Why are you laughing?" I scoffed although I didn't mean to do it in an offended way. "It's funny that you're nervous to ask me out," She teased me.

"Ah, this girl.." I chuckled in response.
"Fine, let's eat together. We'll order some food and eat at my house,okay?" She suggested. "Okay," I smiled widely as she agreed and ended the call.

I quickly dressed up in a neon shirt and black shorts. I grabbed my necessary belongings and went out of my house.

Narrator's POV

After 5 minutes, Jongkook arrived at Somin's house and knocked on her door. Somin welcomed him with a small bow and a side-hug.

Her hair was in a bun and Jongkook found it cute but kept his opinion to himself.

"You haven't ordered food?" Jongkook asked as they sat down on the grey sofa. "I didn't know what you want," She answered while browsing through a menu of a restaurant.

"There's nothing here," She mumbled as she scrolled up the page on the website. "Really?" Jongkook went closer and looked at her phone.

Somin stood up and went to the kitchen. "I'll just make an french toast omelet sandwich. Is that okay for you?" She suggested and peered over to Jongkook. He agreed to it and went to the kitchen.

She decided to make two sandwiches for Jongkook and one sandwich for her.

"Do you need help?" He assisted. "Can you crack 3 eggs and place them in a bowl?" She turned on the stove and took a pan.

Jongkook stayed beside her while she made the sandwich. "You can sit down, oppa," Somin insisted for her guest to sit.

"No, it's okay. I want to stand beside you," The cheesy line made her cupped her mouth in disbelief. Jongkook chuckled as he knew how much Somin love these cringy lines.

After a few minutes while talking, Somin put the sandwiches on a plate and placed it on the table infront of the TV.

"Thank you for the food," Both of them said in unison and gobbled up the food. They sat beside each other as they watched the TV while eating.

Jongkook glanced at the clock, which showed 7.20am. They still have alot of time. 3 more hours at most.

After they've finished the food, they cleaned up the table and decided to watch a movie.

Jongkook had an idea to tease Somin. "I'll pick the movie, okay?" He took the remote and searched for a horror movie.

From the corner of his eyes, he can see Somin's eyes widened. "Oppa, are you crazy?" She tried to grab the remote but Jongkook pulled it further away.

"Somin-ya, there's a new english horror movie that I really want to watch. Just watch it with me," He hid his smirk from her and searched for "The Nun".

Jongkook's POV

First of all, it wasn't a new movie. Second of all, I've already watched it. Lastly, it wasn't scary at all but knowing that Somin is a scaredy-cat, I wanted to see her reaction.

As the movie started, the scene started with a dark and gloomy atmosphere. I felt Somin moved nearer to me and I grinned to myself.

"Oppa, why are you doing this?" She clutched onto my arm.

Narrator's POV

Jongkook gave in and moved towards her too. Somin automatically wrapped her arms around Jongkook's left arm, flinching at every scene.

"Its not even at the scary part," He teased her even more. Somin hit his arm as a response while Jongkook just chuckled.

The movie moved to the climax part. There were small jumpscares in the beginning part but Somin just kept on holding Jongkook's arm tighter.

Suddenly, an unexpected jumpscare with loud noises from the movie appeared, which startled Somin. She screamed and leaned her head on Jongkook's left shoulder. Her eyes were tightly shut and she kept on wailing, making Jongkook's ears bleed.

"Alright, alright," He comforted her and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "You're so dramatic, Somin-ah," He laughed as he patted her hair lovingly.

Somin glared at him. "You're the worst boyfriend ever," She pulled away from his embrace and moved away from him.

Jongkook's POV

Now that I've realised, we've never confirmed our status as boyfriend and girlfriend. It felt weird to hear that but I was smiling widely instead.
