katherine makes her way towards the library, in hopes to get some work done, unable to focus in the common rooms. but before she can make it into the library, someone pulls her into a small hallway, making her gasp. she feels the person push her against the wall, and she looks up with a glare. if looks could kill, in that moment sirius black would have been dead and buried by now.

"what is wrong with you, black. merlin's beard. let me go." she snaps, as she tries to wiggle out of his grip but it only tightens even more. he gives her a look, silently asking if she's being serious as she stubbornly continues to try and get out of his grip. "get your filthy hands off of me."

"calm down, princess. we have some stuff to discuss." he says as he let's her go and leans against the wall behind him and she huffs, glaring at him.

"i'm sure there is a lot you wish to say, but i don't have your time." she says and tries to walk away, but he grabs her wrist, pulling her back to where she stood.

"just behave for a minute. because i think i deserve an explanation as to why you pulled that stunt on my girlfriend the other day in the great hall." he says, making her shrug innocently, deciding to stay as this could be interesting.

"i have no idea what you're talking about, sirius. you must be delusional. i did nothing to your pretty little girlfriend." she lies, and he scoffs as he glares at her in annoyance.

"i don't care what issue you have-" she cuts him off, a look of disbelief on her features as she shakes her head ah him.

"i have issues? wow, sirius. it's not like you and your friends spend every waking hour tormenting us, because we're slytherins." she snaps in annoyance, and he raises an eyebrow in slight amusement.

"so, what? princess is in charge of putting the blood traitor in his place then? is this what it's about?" he asks, making her bite her lip and shake her head in absolute disbelief.

"i love how you assume the world turns around you." she snarls, crossing her arms over her chest and he shrugs with a smirk.

"it doesn't?" he asks rhetorically and she rolls her eyes. his smirk drops as he straightens up, making her glare up at him. "i suggest you, my brother and your little follower, stop what you're trying to do."

"you can't tell me what to do, sirius. and anyway, i have nothing to do with your girlfriend's new interest in fashion. although it was a bit of a faux pas." she snickers, making him clench his jaw angrily. as he takes a step forward, making her push herself against the wall even more.

"you have no idea what you're starting, katherine. and i hope you're ready, because you can't mess with my friends and get away with it." he snarls, making her raise an eyebrow and take step forward as well, in a taunting manner. only a few centimetres in between them and thick cloud of tension settles on them.

"you have no proof that i've done anything, whatsoever, sirius. so once again, i'm not sure what you're talking about." she smirks, before slipping away and making her way towards the library as she had been prior to the interruption. she shakes her head, pushing his words aside and focusing on her assignments for classes.
