so, this story is about a toxic relationship but it didn't last long. do yall want me to bring it back occasionally or just like have them life happily ever after?

You knew you had to make things right with Hotch and the rest of the team. They saw you gradually stoop down to your lowest and you didn't want them to think that was who you were since you were new to the team.

They were quite hesitant to accept you in the beginning because of your troubled past and you wanted to make things right.

After feeling better and eventually getting your sleep schedule straight, you decided to go with Spencer to work so that you could apologize.

You got up early and got dressed in your regular clothes.

You went into the bathroom to look in the mirror. For the first time in a while, you smiled.  You were happy with the way you looked because you looked better. You knew you were finally getting better.

You brush your teeth and wash your face. You go into the kitchen where you make two eggs and put them on seperate plates.

Then set the plates on the kitchen table. You grab two force from the drawer and set them each on the plate.

You poured both of you some drinks and get them on the table.

You were waiting for Spencer to get ready and come to eat with you. Eventually he does, he comes into the kitchen.

He walks up behind you and gives you a hug. You turn around and give him a kiss, he smiles while looking at you and putting his hands on your hips, "have I ever told you how beautiful you are?"

That brings a huge smile on your face, "how can someone be more perfect?"

You felt a bit weird.

You felt at peace and everything seemed okay. You've never even been used to normal so you couldn't say for sure that this is what it was.

Spencer smiles and leans down to give you a kiss on the lips.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm doing better."

"Well, let's eat and then I have to go to work but if you want to do something later.."

"Um, I was actually thinking of going with you to apologize."

"Oh," Spencer raises his eyebrows, "are you sure you want to do that?"

"I know it won't get my job back but the team really needs to know that I'm not the person that they saw a couple of days ago."

"Okay, well if that'll help you then go for it."

You both sit down to eat and wash your dishes afterwards. You and Spencer leave the apartment after locking the front door and walk to the BAU.

You two get off the elevator and you tell Spencer you're gonna go see Hotch in his office.

You get a quick look of the team at their desk, they look surprised to see you.

You walk up the sets and into Hotch's office, you knock on the door and ask if you can speak to him for a moment.

"Sure, have a seat."

You sit down in one of the seats sitting in front of his desk.

"I would like to apologize for everything. My behavior is absolutely inexcusable. I just wanted to come here and apologize for everything that happened at the apartment the other night."

"Well, Mrs. Y/L/N. Your behavior did catch me by surprise but I am glad to see that you are doing better."

You nod, "again I'm so sorry."

"Apology accepted."

You go to walk out of the office.

"Y/N, I know you were in a bad place and I understand what you were going through made it impossible. If you would like, you can start back today."

You turn back around, "really?"

"Absolutely."

"Oh my god, thank you so much. I will never let anything like that happen again."

He pushes his chair and little away from his desk, opening the top drawer. He pulls out your holster with your gun and badge. He hands them to you.

You put them on and smile, "thank you so much."

"Alright, we have a case to solve."

You walk out of the office, Hotch following you. You walk up to the rest the of the team crowded around a desk, having a conversation.

"I would like to apologize, I'm sorry you all had to see me like that."

"You're apart of this team now, we look out for each other and forgive each other," Morgan says while patting your shoulder.

"I'm starting back today."

"Oh, thank God. I was starting to get used to you," Emily says.

You smirk.

Hotch announced that the meeting is about to start.

You all walk into the conference room together. You were eager to start your day and happy that things are going back to normal.
