TW: MENTION OF SEXUAL ASSAULT/HARASSMENT

You lay on the couch and eventually fall asleep. You are half asleep when you hear the front door open. Spencer is home.

Damn, you slept a lot.

Spencer walks over to you and kneels down. You open your eyes all the way and are fully awake at this point.

"Babe, why weren't you at work? Are you okay?" You slowly raise up and position so that your back is to the back of the couch.

You burst into tears.

Spencer's face and tone completely changes,"hey," he says sympathetically while sitting next to you.

"Hey, tell me what's wrong," he pulls you into a hug.

He hugs you very tightly and rubs your shoulder, you start to calm down. "I'm sorry."

"Sorry for what?" he pulls out of the hugs and wipes your tears. He looks down into your face with genuine concern.

You take a deep breath, "I'm sorry for this morning."

"Y/N, I love you. I know you were in a bad mood, it's okay. We all get in bad moods all the time," Spencer tries to reassure you. You look up at him, he's concerned for you.

You don't know if you should tell him about earlier today.

You stop crying and have a completely straight face, "Spencer."

He knows you have something to tell him and his face drops. You take a deep breath and continue, "I passed my gun test."

Spencer's facial expressions change.

He's confused.

"And the guy.."

"The guy what?"

"He tried to.."

Spencer gulps, you don't know if he knows what you're going with this but you continue, "he...."

You can't stop stuttering.

"He pushed me down on the bench."

Spencer's face expressions change to angry than concerned

"And covered my mouth but I pushed him off of me and kicked him. I ran out and ran home, that's why I wasn't at the office today."

"Who was it?"

"His name tag said James."

"I'm gonna fucking kill him."

You put your hands on Spencer's, "don't do anything stupid please."

"Well I have to do something. We should report him," Spencer reaches for his phone.

You stop him.

"There's no use. No one saw it, it would be my word against his and I don't want anyone else finding out about this. People judge and it's bullshit but they do."

Spencer stays quiet and looks at you.

"I'm so sorry, baby. Do you need anything?"

"I just want to go to bed, I'm so tired."

"Okay, let's go lay down," Spencer takes your hand and stands up with you. He walks beside you with his arm aroujd your shoulder.

You lay down on the bed and he lays right beside you. He covers you up with the blanket and cuddles next you.

"I will never let anything bad happen to you ever again," he says as a tear streams down your face.

You're overwhelmed but you're glad Spencer was here.

You felt safe in his arms.
