Kian knocked on the door when Anri and I were running late. Dad was already gone, leaving us to get ready. Coming out of the bathroom, Anri wore more than a few hickies on his neck from the night before.

"Ooo." I teased and gasped when he pulled down my shirt to reveal the mark I had on mine. "I have an excuse as to why he can't mark me!"

"Yah you do." Anri rolled his eyes and grabbed the lunch dad made for us. "So do I."

"Why not?" I asked following him out the door, but I almost screamed when I saw it was Kevin and Jacob instead of Kian. Shit did they hear the conversation we were having?

But it seems that they were too immersed in a conversation of their own to be listening to ours. My hands went to slam the door shut on them, but Kevin grasped onto the door, not letting it fully close. Since I'm a human, I'm no match for them. Anri pushed his body against the door, but Kevin already barged his way inside, grabbing Anri by his neck and pushing him against the wall outside.

"You don't want to see us, puppy?" Kevin teased playing with his lip ring as he choked Anri. I yelled at him and tried to get to him, but Jacob held me back by pinning down my arms with his that were wrapped around my waist.

He put his head in the crook of my neck and growled possessively when he saw the hickies that covered me. "Had fun last night didn't you?"

"Let go! Someone!" I began to screamed but he only choked Anri more. Crying, I didn't know what else to do. "Stop, please,"

"No need to be dramatic, love." Kevin said dropping Anri, leaving him gasping for air and a hard on. "He's enjoying it, can't you see?"

"Why can't you leave us the fuck alone?" Anri whispered coughing to clear his throat. Kevin crouched down and lifted Anri's head with his fingers so that they were meeting each other's gaze.

"Because it's fun watching you squirm." He sadistically stated, grabbing Anri by his hair and pulling him up. "Let's get to school shall we?"

Jacob dropped me and I knew I was going to bruise. Quickly, I went to Anri's side and he looked down with shame.

"The reason Kian can't mark me is because we aren't really mates." Anri admitted later that day when we were alone. I looked at him confused. "It's complicated, but we thought we were, but we're not."

"How do you know?" I asked grabbing lunch for the first time since I got here. Anri gave me a look that said we'll talk later and sat down next to Khalil who was having an in-depth conversation with Ryder. I sat down next to Ryder silently and began to eat my food. Kian came in later with Eugene.

"Where were you this morning?" Anri asked breaking the silence. They already found out what happened because we told them. But it's still weird that Kian never showed up.

"Following you guys from a distance." Kian said looking angry. "I saw everything."

Anri looked at him shocked and turned to me. Ryder looked between the two of confused. "What's everything?"

"Nothing!" I exclaimed, not wanting him to know that they tried to get at us again and more importantly that Anri let Kevin get inside his head.

Ryder grew a bit mad. "Are you lying?" How'd he know?

"It's nothing new, really." Anri defended. I don't know why this group has so many dominant personalities. It's really crazy. Khalil rolled her eyes and nudged Ryder to keep on the conversation.

It was about the lab were doing in science class. I'm also their partner, but I'm guessing since I did all the work, they're debating on who's presenting.
