Dad came into my room knocking on the door first with a large smile on his face.

"Hey kiddo, I have a question to ask before I go to work." Dad said sitting on the edge of my bed. It's the weekend and he's really waking me up mad early.

"What dad?" I grumbled rolling onto my stomach so I don't have to see the sunlight.

"This afternoon want to meet my boyfriend?" He asked with a smile. "I think it's getting serious."

I nodded my head and gestured for him to leave. "What time do I have to be ready? And is Anri coming?"

"Of course he's coming. And be ready by six, I'll pick you guys up and we can meet at a restaurant. Dress fancy." Dad said closing my door and I can hear him opening Anri's door. Those two really are like father and son. But I guess for dad, he'll take as many kids as he can since for my whole life he's been forced away by mom.

I didn't wake up again until four in the afternoon. Anri was already making lunch for us.

"Just in case you don't like anything at the restaurant." Anri said handing me some pasta he made. I smiled and dug in. After that we both decided to clean the entire house since there wasn't anything else to do. Music blasted the house as we cleaned.

"I would die for you! The distance and the time between us!" We screamed as we cleaning the living and kitchen, which marked the end of the house. We already cleaned both bathrooms and each room except dad's. And now with the kitchen and living room done, we got ready for dad to pick us up.

I guess we're both thankful to have such a nice house with a nice parent.

"Ready?" Dad called from the living room. We both raced downstairs after getting ready together and of course Anri beat me.

"That's not fair loser!" I yelled pushing Anri to the side and hugged dad first. Anri grumbled and hugged dad as well causing dad to laugh.

"Kiddos, thanks for cleaning the house!" He exclaimed pulling away.

"I did it all!" Anri lied with a smirk on his face. I gasped and slapped his arm.

"Did not! Dad he didn't! I swear." I said causing dad to laugh even more. Dad rolled his eyes and opened the door.

"Get out." He said shaking his head. I got shot gun and the drive to the restaurant was filled with music and singing.

We pulled in and turns out dad made a reservation. We turned the corner and I felt my body tense when I made eye contact with Mark.

Mark looked at me shocked and watched as we sat down across from him, Dad sat down next to him.

"Athena, Anri this is my boyfriend Marcus Lee. Marcus these are my kids." Dad introduced with a large smile. The dress I was wearing was long sleeve, but even now, the bruises feel like burns. He looked at me with such an intense stare.

"Excuse me, if the waiter comes I'll just have a water and whatever pasta is on the menu." I said and rushed the bathroom. Holy shit. Holy shit. Holy shit.

Is this why he threatened dad? Because he knew he was close to him. But it can't be. He was surprised to see me.

Stepping out of the bathroom Mark was there with a dark look on his face. "You're not his daughter."

"Checkmate." I said trying not to seem scared. But he had me up against a wall, he towered over me and now that I see him up close, he has a scar under his eye.

"Fucking bitch don't think I'm not suspicious of you. You're too close to that group just to be friends." He said shaking his head and looked down at me with a threatening look. Before he could say anything else, a waiter came by and looked at us confused. More precisely he looked at me with one of those "do you need help" looks.
