I'm gonna go back and edit all of Save Me because I was reading the first book and Oh Lord how tf did u read that??? So if you fancy re-reading the earlier chapters, I'll try and edit two chapters once this is published. I'll make it so you get the update notification so you can go read if you like.

Andy laughs on entering the living room. "You okay down there?" He asks, looking at Remington, who's lying on his back on the floor with a book held above his head.

"I'm concentrating," Remington says, not looking away from the page. "This sentence makes no fuckin' sense."

The man lies beside his husband. "Are you reading Shakespeare?"

"Mhm."

"Why?"

Remington turns the page. "'cause I found it in a charity shop."

Andy hums, amused. "What's it about?"

"How should I know? This isn't even English!"

"It's middle English, isn't it?"

"It could be fuckin' Russian for all I know. Tell me what this means. 'Take my milk for gall.' What the hell?"

Andy chuckles. "I dunno, I never did Macbeth."

"How'd you know it's Macbeth?"

"Says at the top. Are you still concentrating or can I tell you what I came in here to tell you?"

Remington closes the book and drops it onto his chest. "Tell me what?"

"That," Andy begins, pausing to smile when the boy takes his hand. "I love you."

"That's it?"

"Let me finish."

Remington giggles.

"That I love you and so I'm taking you to Paris."

"You what?"

Andy laughs. "I'm taking you to Paris tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?"

"Yep."

The younger squeals.

"Glad you're excited, princess. Better go pack."

"You do it for me?"

Andy presses Remington's hand to his chest. "And why would I do that?"

"'cause you love me?"

The man hums.

"And 'cause I wanna google what all this shit means," Remington explains, tapping the book.

"I see. Well how about this? You learn one speech in this and act it out to me later. I'll do your packing while you learn it."

"I can't act!"

Andy sits up and pulls the boy with him. "Yes you can, silly. You can do everything. So what'd you say?"

"How long does it have to be?"

"Not that long. A few lines."

Remington falls back down with a humph. "It's like getting homework all over again," he complains, though with a smile. "Okay, fine. I'll do it. You have to not laugh."

"I would never."

"You totally would."

The man stands up. "Good luck, beautiful. I expect to be brought to tears."

"That's easy, I'll just say I don't like batman."

"Bitch."

"Bigger bitch." He picks up the book as Andy walks towards the door, saying, "love you," and blowing the man a kiss.

Andy blows one back. "And I love that you love me," he teases, "love you too, kitty. Try not to set the book on fire."

"I make no promises." Remington opens the book once his husband has left, hearing him ascend the stairs as he looks for a speech to learn. "I'm being the woman!" He calls, "Lady Macbeth!"

"You look just like her!" Andy calls back, "with your luscious blonde hair!"

"It's my best feature!"

Andy comes back into the living room half an hour later, sitting on the couch. "So, how's your speech?" He asks, catching the book when it's thrown at him, raising an eyebrow. "Going well?"

"I need to get into character," the boy says brightly, running out of the room. "Be right back!"

Andy pulls his phone from his pocket and starts a video when he hears Remington running back down the stairs. He bursts into laughter when the boy returns with red paint all over his hands.

"Okay, ready?" Remington asks, "are you filming me?"

"Yep."

"Ready?"

Andy hums, smiling.

"Out, damned spot, I say! - One: two: Why." The singer begins dramatically, resisting the urge to laugh. "Then t'is time to do it. Uh...Hell is murky! Fie, my lord, fie!" He wipes red paint on his face and Andy stifles a laugh. "A soldier, uh...and afeard? Oh shit, what's next? Uh...wait, give me a sec," he mumbles, hesitating to think. "Oh. I know! What we need we fear who knows it, when none call our...when none call our power to account? Yet who would have thought the, uh, the old man to have so much blood in him." He grins. "I got paint everywhere."

"I can see that."

Kittycatrem: In case you were wondering what me and Andy do when we're bored, it's this. Me, as Lady Macbeth. I think they should cast me from now on.
