Loki pulled his lips from hers in regret straightening over her shaking his head at her with a smile.
"You are so stubborn."
Nina grinned back.
"So I have been told." She wrapped her arms around his waist and pressed her cheek to his heart.
"You court danger and the danger has no way to escape." He laid his chin on the top of her head holding her in the darkness.
"Sometimes you have to show danger who's boss." She chuckled.
Loki chuckled himself.
"I think we need to go inside it's freezing out here. "
"I hadn't noticed until you mentioned it." She stepped away looking up at him.
"Shall we?" He bowed and offered her his arm which she took shivering slightly.
"Do you normally make bad decisions?" He asked light heartedly.
"Depends on whose view you take. I don't think so."
"You might live to regret this one."
"I guess we will see." She beamed up at him.
They crossed the yard to the back door he opened it gesturing her through into the dark warmth of the house.
Nina's head was still spinning as she pulled the glow from her hands to light their way through the dark to the lights in the sitting room.
Loki followed close behind not wanting her any further away then neccessary the link was fused.
"You must be starving?" She went to step towards the kitchen and he caught her around the waist leaning over her shoulder.
"Yes,my pet I am." His voice was deep and raspy he exhaled into her neck.
Nina felt her whole body shiver her heart skipped a beat and she had to remind herself to breath. She turned in his arms looking up at him he wore a dangerous smirk but this wasn't the type of danger she knew how to handle.
Loki grinned mischievously leaning down to capture her lips with his pulling her down onto the couch across his lap.
"Loki."she moaned against his lips. She knew his kisses were going to wipe her mind clear she couldn't give into that not yet.
"Hmmm moan my name again." He said with a intake of breath.
"Loki behave." She pulled away from him with difficulty she didn't want to but she had to.
Loki pouted at her learning back on the couch watching her.
"That is an impossibility for me." He huffed he was going to need to go back out side maybe throw himself into the snow, naked.
"We haven't eaten since breakfast." She avoided his seductive gaze making her way into the kitchen.
"I ate.. something that meat on bread stuff. I think you called it a sanwitch."
"Sandwich."
"Yes that." He pulled himself off the couch following her into the kitchen and sat at the table looking unhappy.
"Well I'm starving. " she looked through the cabinets. Finding it hard to concentrate with him staring at her from behind.
"If you insist." He eased back into the chair feeling oddly light and calm. "So this is what love feels like?" He asked out loud pondering the feeling in his head, his heart, and stomach.
Nina dropped the can she had been reaching for she turned to look at him.
"Is it?"
"Is it not?" He grinned she rolled her eyes.
"I'm assuming , I wouldn't know." She leaned back against the counter.
"Not at all?" He was surprised she was lovely and maddening a wonderful combination.
"No.I have always avoided relationships I was afraid they wouldn't understand my life or my powers. You?"
"No. Woman in Asgard just wanted to be a Princess it did not matter to which Prince." He looked disgusted.
"Nina I do believe I am falling in love with you. Im quite taken. " he looked confused by it.
"I believe that too Loki."
Loki looked up at her and grinned like a school boy.
"Good. I ment what I said earlier I can not and will not let you go. Love for me is binding you are in every way mine." He was serious and she wasn't bothered by it.
"Works both ways Loki." She felt the links too.
Nina turned around grabbing cereal and 2 bowls she plopped them onto the table and went for the milk and spoons. She returned to the table and shrugged.
"I can't concentrate this will have to do. Then a shower and bed training again tomorrow. I also have to go over the files for Ryan I had almost forgotten them."
"Alright." He watched her pour cereal and milk in her bowl and did the same. "The power you gave me today is still working on my magic I hope it continues to." He shoved a spoon full of cereal into his mouth and made a face.
Nina laughed.
"That bad huh?"
"Partly ,it is so odd." He shoved more in.
"Yeah it is." She smiled. It was all odd.
The ate in silence both lost in their own minds but both thinking of the other. Nina stood first carrying her bowl to the sink he stood doing the same pinning her between him and the counter.
"We need our rest." Was the only thing she could think to say.
"Than I shall kiss you goodnight." He snaked his arms slowly around her looking into her eyes with intensity that made her swallow hard. He tilted her chin up still gazing unblinking into her eyes he lowered his lips to hers and kissed her lightly before stepping back making his way to his room. "Good night." He winked at her over his shoulder before closing his door.
Nina stood there for a moment her body tense and her mind whirling. It was going to be a long night she thought as she shut the lights and headed to her own room and a long hot shower.
