Draco loved Hermione ever since their first year at Hogwarts, that night at the Malfoy manor on seeing Hermione get tortured with the word MudBlood written on her arm. He wanted so badly to save her, but would've gotten killed on the spot. Hermione, delicate as she is, kept her feelings hidden from anyone knowing about how much she truly loved Draco.
