Stay inside and drink water!

In which Omega Jimin runs from his pack to find help, and the pack leaders "cold hearted" Alpha son Jungkook, falls pathetically in love with the fearless omega.

60,700 words.

This will be set in a pack world, so they'll be able to shift into actual wolves, have less modern houses and such, and have certain traditions. If you aren't used to aob (alpha/omega/beta) worlds, hopefully this isn't too confusing! This is my own story, so credit to me lmao. There will also be a combination of present and past elements aka technology, clothes, and the like. Hopefully y'all like it!

Jungkook dressed his best. He wore his finest silk, his nicest fur coat, and his nicest cologne to show off his position as the wolf packs' leaders son. Such a fucking title. Jungkook didn't care much about it, except for the fact that one day he'd be the leader. He had no doubt he'd be strong enough...but he had doubts about his ability to keep everyone's trust.

So of course, naturally, his parents were setting him up on dates to find a potential companion. Omega after omega after omega. Jungkook was numb to the attempts now.

"Jungkook, this is Park Jihyo, her family works with many of the clothes we offer. She knows nearly everyone here." His father gave him the important details, leaning on the doorway frame. "Try your best, okay?"

"These meetings are a waste of food. The food we eat could be used for other houses." Jungkook shook his head, fixing his hair. "That's all I've got to say."

"Jungkook. You need to find a partner before you become the pack leader."

"You've got plenty more years dad. I don't need to get married yet." Jungkook sighed. "Besides, I think I've gone on enough dates. Every omega girl knows I've turned them down. The choices are getting thin, aren't they?" Jungkook was hopeful that his suffering would end.

"Then I'll move on to boys." His dad sighed. "I just need to know that you'll be left in good hands. I need to see it." His father looked down. "I'm sorry that you're not finding the right person. But we do have a big pack, so I'm sure there's someone that's right for you."

Jungkook looked at his mirror, changing his earrings. "Maybe there isn't."

With that, he walked past his father to their dinning room, ready to wait for his date to arrive. Someone good with clothes...maybe she could teach him a thing or two, he'd always loved trying new things. Or maybe he could start sewing his own things.

Jungkook heard the door open from across the house, his ears used to identifying each creak and groan. He had a much larger house than the other cabins, just to prove that this was the pack leaders house, but Jungkook didn't quite like it. One day it would be his, but...it was just a little too empty.

A nice looking women entered the room, and Jungkook didn't bother standing up. He knew he'd deny her anyways. He put his hand out, to indicate that she should sit across from him, so she did. Their food was set on the table, and then everyone else left to give them time to talk.

Jungkook was used to this by now. "I'm sorry for wasting your time and night, but hopefully the food is good enough to make up for it. Please, take it to your family as well." Jungkook gave her a small, apologetic smile.
