Chapter 27

"Protect"

MINA's POV

We're at our last meeting for the collaboration.

"Is everything done?" Junhui asked. We nodded except for a particular pair. They're eating, again. It's really cool how they're not gaining weight! It makes me hella jealous.

"So the collab stage is tomorrow, right?" Sana Unnie asked and we nodded, again. "Regarding the schedule, I think Mina and Wonwoo will go first?" She asked while looking at the papers.

"Huh? We're first? I thought Momo and Hoshi will go first?" I asked. "I also thought they would go first but I'm wrong. The schedule changed, you're first then they'll be out after you," she said then took down notes.

I glanced at Wonwoo who is smiling like a goddamn idiot. I glared at him, "Why are you smiling?" I asked.  He just laughed then pointed at Momo Unnie and Hoshi who are fighting over food again. They're best friends but it's pretty weird how they are always fighting about different stuff.

"Hey. Are you still with us?" Sana Unnie asked. Our attention shifted back to her and Junhui Oppa who are serious about this collab.

Since when are they so serious regarding this? Nevermind.

"I guess, we're ready to go? It's already 5 PM and it's better if we rest early today," Junhui Oppa said.

I stood up and started to walk away. I'm hungry.

"You wanna eat?"

I looked at the person who asked me the question. "Yeah, I'm hungry. How about you?" I asked Wonwoo. He smiled, "Kinda. I didn't eat breakfast so I'm hungry, let's go," he placed his arms on my shoulders.

"Why are you acting as if we're close, Jeon Wonwoo?"

"I'm your friend, remember? Don't be rude, it's my treat."

I smiled. Goodluck.

"I didn't know you like fries that much," he asked while staring out of nowhere. We're having a picnic and I ordered fries because why not?

"You know. I don't know that fries existed before not until Josh--- nevermind," I said. Seriously, Mina? I told you to stop thinking about him.

"I see. Hyung influenced us also. He's the reason why Dokyeom loves pizza," Wonwoo smiled. "Mina, don't be awkward when talking about Hyung. If he suddenly pops out of your mind, don't hesitate to tell me. In that way, you'll run out of ideas about him," he added.

"Isn't that hard?"

"What hard?" He asked.

"Moving on? You seem so skilled!" I complimented him. "No, I'm not skilled. I told you that it's because of Jeonghan Hyung," then he rolled his eyes.

"Not because we're friends you have the right to roll your eyes on me!" I scolded but he just laughed. What's funny with my sentence?! He's weird!

"I'm just teasing you. Anyway, just eat your fries. Eat that all, you almost drained my pockets. You ordered too much," he sighed.

"It's your fault. You volunteered to treat me," I said before sticking my tongue out. He just shook his head then ate his kimbap.

DAHYUN's POV

"Now how am I going to explain this to Unnies?" I asked myself.

I've been thinking about this for days. They would be very disappointed with me! Vernon said that it's okay but I'm sure it's not. Especially to Momo Unnie. Scary...
