"Mistake"

Jeonghan's POV

I stressfully slammed myself on the bed. Sowon just called and I can't bring myself to tell her the truth.

I need Joshua right now. He's the only one who can give me advice. Seungcheol Hyung isn't really experienced in this.

He only got two girlfriends. One is from his high school and Nayeon Noona is the second one.

"Jeonghan, you called me?" Joshua knocked. I nodded and motioned him to come closer.

"I want to ask you something..."

He sighed, "it's about Sowon and Yeon, right?"

I nodded. He smiled, "I never thought you'd be an idiot when it comes to love. But I have no right to tell you harsh words now, just tell me the whole story."

I started telling him everything. Joshua is the type of person I can trust with everything. He's matured and open-minded. He is SEVENTEEN's Myoui Mina.

I don't ship them since Mina has a boyfriend. They are just so alike. Somehow, if they say that they're best friends, I will believe them.

"This is bad," Joshua said. "You cheated once and you cheated again for the second time now."

"Should I tell her now? Or should I just keep the truth from her?" I asked. Honestly, I don't know what to do now.

"You should tell her the truth. The whole truth, don't be a coward. Don't be like me," he said suddenly.

"What do you mean? You haven't been in a relationship, right?" I asked. He laughed.

Did he just laugh?

He's acting weird.

"Would you believe me if I say that I had one?"

My jaw dropped. I never asked Joshua about his love life. No one did. We are just asking him for advice and we had a conclusion that it's because of the books he read.

"Wait. You had a girlfriend and you're not telling us?" I asked. He put his finger to his lips telling me to keep quiet.

"Yeah. I had one, before."

"Who is she?"

"She is someone you'd think of. She is someone just like me. Someone who is tired and sick because of this industry. Someone who understands, someone who can give advice like me," Joshua answered.

Wait... that someone sounds familiar.

There's only one person that's coming into my head whenever he said: "like me". That girl. Impossible.

"What happened to the two of you?"

"I let her go. I selfishly decided to let her go which made her mental situation worse," he answered. I am speechless as Joshua stared blankly at the wall.

"I am stupid for doing it but I have no other choice," Joshua added before standing up leaving me.
