Chapter 17

"I'm Sorry"

JUNHUI's POV

We're at the practice room, again. So it means I am stuck with my so-called partner with the name of Sana Minatozaki. She's not talking to me, instead, she's endlessly glaring at me. I tried to ignore her since it would only waste my time but she is so irresistible.

"Why are you staring at me like that, Mr. Wen?" She asked rudely. Her attitude is so feisty and I like it.

"Nothing, Ms. Minatozaki. Mind if I ask, why are you endlessly glaring at me? Shouldn't I supposed to be the one who will be glaring since you are the one who kissed me in the first place?" I asked her making her look scared.

It's true. She kissed me. It's her fault for keeping me up all night just by thinking about what she looked like that day and her words... damn it.

I shouldn't act like this. We're idols. It is improper.

"I wouldn't kiss you if you didn't insult me," she fired back.

"You bite me back every time I say something to you. What's the catch?" I asked, Sana rolled her eyes before looking at me again. 

She just stood up then walked away. "Hey! Sana!" I called her.

"We still haven't practiced yet! Why are you running away? Hey! It's your job, remember?!"

No response is given from miss Sana Minatozaki.

I sat there, annoyed. I heard footsteps getting near me. I raised my head and saw, it's Mina.

"You seem pretty stressed? Is Unnie being rude to you again?" She asked as she gave me a bottle of water.

I forgot to tell you something. We are practicing with our partners in a different room. So in summary, Sana and I are stuck with each other for the whole day. We practiced well the past days but today... it just hits different. Sana is different today.

"Kinda. She seems pissed," I answered.

"Is she always like that?" I asked and Mina shook her head. "No, Sana Unnie is the opposite of what she's making you think," Mina answered.

"What do you mean, Mina?"

"Unnie is the sweetest member of TWICE. I don't know why seems to hate you, Sana Unnie is very loving and caring to everyone... except towards you," Mina said. "As for what she's acting today, just let her be. Actually, it's the 2nd year when Jin Oppa and Sana Unnie decided to part ways."

My eyes widened, "She got in a relationship with Jin?"

"Not exactly. They are just on their way to have a relationship but it didn't work out. They've been shipped to different people and they decided to just continue as friends, though they are not friends now."

I frowned when she said those words. Who thought that Sana experienced this before? I never been in love or become interested in that topic.

I looked at Mina whose face suddenly broke down.

"Oppa... take care of Unnie when you're alone with each other. She can be moody sometimes but she is the opposite of what you think," Mina said with a smile then left me.

I feel guilty.

I ran outside the room to see her, maybe she's not far? I am about to run upstairs when I heard a  voice below the staircase.

"Aish!"

It's Sana's voice.

"Aren't we supposed to wait until our career is over before dating other people? Looks like he, oh gosh."

"Hey."

She looked at me when I called her. "What do you want, Wen Junhui?" She asked.

"Look. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for offending you, can we start as friends now?" I told her directly. Her eyes widened at my sentence.

"What do you mean?"

"Sana. I'm sorry for being mean and rude," I said. She stared at me. Her eyes are sparkling, are her eyes always like this?

Her eyes are like they're telling a story. She looks so innocent but her eyes are different.

Internally, I slapped myself. What the hell are you thinking, Junhui? It's forbidden.

"Alright. Sorry. Sorry for being mean and rude. Let's start as friends, again," she smiled.

MOMO's POV

Hoshi is singing his "Horanghae" song which I don't get if it has a meaning or what. "Why are you thinking that you're a tiger when you look like a hamster?" I sighed.

Hoshi looked at me while pouting. "How could you?"

I giggled, "Hoshi... you know what, Jihyo and Daniel broke up now. Will you court her now?" I asked.

Jihyo might've chosen him if he started acting like a man. Just like Daniel or Suga. Dokyeom and Hoshi are out of this world now. Yes, they're aliens awooOOo.

He sighed, "I won't... she needs time now and I'll respect that."

Woah woah. Look who's acting like a man now? I am about to tease him but my phone rang and it's Kim Heechul.

"Gotta take this call first," I stood up. I answered the phone call once I'm out of the room.

"Hello?"

"Momo-yah! Where are you? You wanna have lunch together?" He asked. I smiled upon hearing his voice. Yes, my schedule is very tight but Heechul always respects that. He's patiently waiting whenever I will be free or something like that.

"I'm at our practice room with Hoshi. We are not done yet, can you go here?" I asked him.

"Yeah. I'll be on my way. What do you want for lunch? I'll order somewhere," he answered. "Also, ask Hoshi what he wants to eat. It's my treat for the both of you for working so hard."

"Okay, okay. I'll ask him. I'll just text you. Take care," I said.

"You too, take care. See you."

I went inside the room again and saw Hoshi rolling on the floor. "What the hell?" I asked.

"JIHYO REPLIED! WAAAAAH~!"

Face-palmed. He's an idiot, end of the story.

"What's the big deal if Jihyo replied? Give me the phone," I said. Hoshi is blushing hard but he still gave me the phone.

To: Jihyo

How are you? You wanna hang out
after practice? Dinner?

From: Jihyo

Yeah. I'd love to. Just us?

To: Jihyo

Yeah. Are you fine with that?
I mean we can invite others if you want.

From: Jihyo

No. I'm actually good with that.
It's been months since we last ate together,
what time anyway? Should I go there?

To: Jihyo

No no. I'll pick you up at 9.

From: Jihyo

Okay, noted. See you!

He is not able to send another message since he's already rolling on the floor. When will he grow up?
