When the Moon Fell for the Sun
(Chapter 13: He Got It Wrong)Flashback
"Y/n, Lady Elizabeth will be visiting today in the manor," said Mey-rin, standing right beside you.
"Will there be any tasks for me then?"
"Nothing. All you have to do is avoid being jealous~" she said as she slightly elbowed you.
Mey-rin's attitude kind of change when she met you. Though a week haven't passed since you're here in the manor— in fact you are only here in the manor for 5 days, today is your 5th day— Mey-rin already formed trust on you and she feels comfortable whenever you are around. Take note that she even teases you because she already knows your secret— well, it's not a secret anymore.
The other servants also changed the way they look at you and interact with you ever since that day you help them save the young earl. You developed another circle of friends.
"How many times do I have to tell you that I am—"
"CIEEEELLLLL~" Elizabeth shouted, her voice echoing through the hallways.
'Just like before, and as always, he will spin him 'round and 'round, hug him, and as usual, Ciel gets dizzy, asks his fiancee 'Elizabeth, what are you doing here?', then Elizabeth will get sad or mad and remind him to call her Lizzy and not Elizabeth.'
"Wow. You already memorized her actions? Are you really jealous or not?"
"Huh? D-did I just said that out loud?"
"Yes you did."
"But just so you know, Mey-rin, I am not jealous whenever Elizabeth does that to her fiancee," you spoke as you tried your best to say it with a straight face. "Not. At. All."
Well, we all know it's a lie. You do get jealous. Everybody can get jealous. It's a humanly emotion that anyone can feel anytime and anywhere that signifies that you want something— or perhaps someone, even though you know that it isn't yours-- HE isn't yours.
You heaved a deep sigh and you decided to take your leave. Who knows? You might not be able to restrain yourself and snatch Ciel from the arms of Elizabeth--
"W-w-wait, where are you going?" Mey-rin stuttered, lowering her voice so that she won't disturb the cousins. "You haven't told me what happened during your sleepover with Young Master! Tell me the details! Did you guys perhaps ki--"
"We didn't kiss, okay?! WE DIDN'T!" You whisper-shouted. "Your thoughts are so naughty!"
You saw Mey-rin tilting her head to the side and she just stared at you without a word. "W-why are you looking at me like that?" You asked.
"I was just asking whether you guys perhaps killed time or stayed awake the whole night. Not kiss!" She explained. "Or maybe you were really expecting a kiss~"
"Kill time? That's what you meant?!--"
"Maybe our little Y/n is mad because they didn't kiss," Bardroy butted in while he scanned the right side of the hallway, his nose sniffing around that area.
