When the Moon Fell for the Sun
(Chapter 20: Black-Eyed Susan)You stretched your arms as you walk along the hallway with your roommate. It's the first period break right now, and the both of you are familiarizing the twists and turns in the school. You don't really have to do this but the so-called 'tour' is your excuse so that Ciel can see you and vice versa; because despite the fact that the two of you share the same room, he's not your classmate in all subjects except for 3.
Why do you have to see him, you ask?
First--- because you'll discuss some important matters, and second--- you just want to see him, especially after a brain cell wipe-out that was caused by the exam held a couple minutes ago.
"How's the test?" He asked after swallowing his snack. "Is it easy?"
"It is," you said, nodding your head. "I don't know if the questions got easier or I just got smarter--- enough to answer them all before the teacher leaves. I also checked it many times. Better be safe than sorry."
"Smarter, huh?" He repeated with a teasing tone. "It would be better for the three of us then. The mission will be done earlier than expected."
"Regarding our mission, what do you want to tell me?" You reminded. "Did you acquire useful info about Derrick Arden?"
He shook his head. "All I can say that he is not from the Sapphire Owls..."
"Nor from the Green Lions," you added. "But I heard you're invited to some afternoon tea with the prefects."
You saw him nod causing you to feel as if a thorn was plucked out of your heart.
"That's good news, Y/n!" The fairy exclaimed. "In the original plot, although it was supposed to be Ciel whom McMillan will meet first--- and not you, at least Ciel still got invited to the Swan Gazebo! Just like what really happened!"
"Yesterday, the day you were out of yourself and you received your failed test---"
"I know, I know. You don't have to rub the fact that I didn't pass on my face. What happened yesterday?" You interrupted as you crossed your arms on your chest.
"During fag time, I was assigned to no one so I was left and was tasked with cleaning the whole dining hall. I asked Sebastian to do it and because of that, the whole room was sparkling clean which caused Clayton--- a prefect's fag of the Blue House--- to get me as his fag," he explained. "This Clayton then asked me to do a lot of things---"
"Let me guess. You ordered Sebastian to do them on your behalf, right?"
"I... I have no choice. Moving on, I need to prepare some tea for them and some cookies---"
"You mean you need Sebastian to make them---"
"I mean I need you to do those things," he corrected. "I heard earlier that some of my classmates will go visit Sebastian and ask him things about the lesson. They're quite many so I'm sure they'll take time."
You nodded. "Sebastian also has a class to teach during the afternoon, which means more work for me to do."
You saw him fight the urge to laugh. "You don't really like to do some work, do you?"
"Who likes them anyway? And uhm.. Ciel, before I forgot," you called, looking at the floor. "I.. I want to say that I'm.."
"You, you, you are what?" He echoed.
"I... I am---"
"Hey, that's L/n, right?" A voice shouted from the end of the hallway. "Quickly, go to him! We can't let him hurt another student anymore!"
