OMG WERE ALMOST AT 1k READS TYSM!!!!

—————————————————————————

I stared at the ceiling most of the night. I tossed and turned until I fell asleep, but not for long. The thirty minutes of sleep that I got felt as like I got 5 minutes of shuteye. Pansy was trying to get me out of bed, saying that we had a Herbology test today. She isn't wrong, we do have a test today, but I really didn't care.

Yesterday's memories still lurked through my head. Maybe I shouldn't have told Ryder what happened in McGonagall's office, but he would've found out anyways. So it doesn't really matter.

But it does matter, he was going to find out one way or another. Even if someone told him or he asked me to the yule ball and told him about me going there with Tom.

It would be a good chance that he would act the same way as yesterday, or it was just the wrong time to tell him.

After a few minutes of complaining to Pansy about how I only slept for 30 minutes, I finally gave in and started to get ready. I got changed into my uniform quickly, then put some concealer under my eyes to cover up the dark circles under my eyes then I applied some mascara. I also put some foundation over my bruise so no one would question it.

I combed through my long black hair, then put it up into a high ponytail for the day. Luckily today was Friday so I could chill for the rest of the week.

"You ready to go?" Pansy asks while picking up her stack of books.

"Yeah, but I just need to grab my books," I headed over to my end table where my books were sitting and picked them up, "Now we can go."

When Pansy and I opened the door, Ryder was standing there. He didn't look happy.

"Why did you tell Tom?" He huffed.

"Tell him what?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Tell him about how I hit you," He exclaimed, "Why would you tell him?"

Then it hit me. I told Tom about what happened with Ryder. He must've got into a fight with Ryder and told him about what happened.

"Excuse me Ryder," I said with no expression, "I have to go."

...

"Yeah I told him," Tom said while crossing his arms across his chest. He was standing in the doorway of his dorm, still in his pajamas, "Why do you care?"

"Why would you tell him?" I asked.

"Well why did you tell me?" He smiled evilly, "This is your problem. You were the one who told me. If you didn't blurt out all of those words at my face yesterday this wouldn't have happened."

"You don't make scene Riddle," I shook my head.

"I thought you weren't going to talk to me. You said that two months ago." He mumbled.

"I said I wanted nothing to do with you. Yet you just kept going," I shook my head.

"You know what, Fuck you. Leave, now," Tom slammed the door in my face. I stood there for a few seconds before I was interrupted by Draco and Blaise walking out of their dorms.

"Victoria what are you doing?" Draco asks, knowing that I was standing in front of Tom's dorm.

Tom opened the door again, I kept my eyes glued to the floor, not wanting to make eye contact with him, "I told you to fucking leave!"

"How dare you talk to her like that!" Draco exclaims and started walking towards Tom before I stopped him.

"Draco don't," I whispered, "Remember what happened last time."
