BACK IN VICTORIA'S POV (this chapter kind of recaps what happened last chapter but in Victoria's pov)

I stormed back to my dorm in anger. I couldn't believe what just happened.

I walked into the common room, students were in there talking about the yule ball and how it was last night.

Memories replayed in my mind over and over again like a movie. It all filled me up with feelings of guilt and anger. I headed upstairs to the girls dormitories and opened the door. Pansy was sitting on her bed, reading a book.

Great. Now I would have to explain her everything last night.

"Hey, Victoria. Where were you last night? I didn't see you all night and-" She peaked ip from her book with a smile. He smile faded once she saw me, "Victoria...is everything okay?" She asks.

"Oh yes, everything's fine," I said sarcastically.

"No it's not," She shook her head. She headed over towards me and sat down on the bed, "What happened last night?"

"Well, when I went to the bathroom, R-Ryder was there," I started, "He carved the word 'Liar' into my skin."

"He WHAT?" She exclaimed, "Why? You never lied to him, never!"

"True," I nodded my head, "So once that was over I headed back to the great hall. Tom was standing there, he told me that there was another dance starting soon. He noticed that I was crying and he asked what was wrong. Then he took my arm and notice the carving in my skin. So he took me back to the common room where he healed it with some random spell. After that, we kind of..." I stalled.

"What? You did what?" She asked.

I sighed and moved my hair, reavealing all of the small marks on my neck from last night. Pansy said nothing, she sat there in shock.

"You guys fucked?" She exclaimed.

"Shhh!" I put a finger over my lips, "Someone will overhear."

"Sorry," She mumbled.

"Anyways I ended up staying in his dorm for the night to sleep since I could barely walk." I explained, "I woke up and we talked for a few minutes, everything was going good. Then he just...I don't know. He just started to tell me that he wouldn't think this would work out. Then it resulted in a fight and he almost slapped me."

"He WHAT?" She exclaimed.

"Shhhh!" I shushed her.

"Sorry," She muttered, "But what wouldn't work out? A relationship?" She furrowed her eyebrows.

"I-I think so, I don't know. I'm pretty sure though," I stuttered.

"He's an asshole, Victoria. Do you see the way he talks to you? He's a complete ass hole to you." She explains to me.

"True," I agreed, nodding my head up and down slowly.

"He doesn't deserve you," She told me, "Look at you, you're stunning. Yes, Tom might be a little stunning and hot on the outside but that doesn't mean the same on the inside."

"You're right," I nodded my head and smiled.

"Are those his clothes," She said while pointing down at what I was wearing. A black tee shirt and sweatpants of his.

I had almost forgotten that he gave me his clothes, I'll return them later, I thought to myself.

"Uh..yeah. I just forgot to give them back to him." I told her, "Wanna go get breakfast?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, sure. Let's go." She smiled.

I got changed out of Tom's clothes into a hoodie and some sweatpants. I didn't really feel like getting dressed up today. It's not like I have any reason to.

I wiped off my smudged makeup from yesterday. Black mascara ran under my eyes from all of the crying last night, along with eyeliner. I took a small makeup wipe and started to wipe under my eyes where the makeup was.

We both then headed down to breakfast where we met Draco and Blaise who were already settled down eating breakfast.

I explained the whole situation over again to Draco and Blaise again later that night since they didn't know what the story was. They said the same thing as Pansy said; I didn't deserve him. He was dark and cold where I was the opposite.

I headed back to my dorm and read one of the books Tom gave me. I know he was a bad person, but the books he gave to me were still good.

"Uh...Victoria," Pansy interrupts my thoughts. I closed the book and laid it on the bedside table next to me. I looked over at Pansy, waiting for her to say something.

"Weren't you going to bring back Tom's clothes," She said while pointing to his clothes which were sitting in a small pile on the bed.

"Oh, right," I stood off the bed and grabbed the clothes, "I'll be back."

I walked out of our dorm and closed the door shut behind me. I took a few deep breaths as I walked to Tom's dorm. I passed a few students who were hanging out in the common room, trying to avoid any communication.

I just wanted to get this over with.

I walked up to the boys dormitories and walked until I was at Tom's dorm. Silence filled the room as I softly knocked on the door.

A few seconds of silence later the door opened to a tired Tom with dark bags under his eyes. He looked down at my hands.

"Heres your clothes," I muttered while throwing the small ball of clothes at him. I started to walk away, but he grabbed my hand and whirled me around to face him.

"Please lets talk about it," He breaths out, "I messed badly and I-I really shouldn't have said that."

"You already explained enough," I repeated my words from earlier. I started to walk away. I turned around and yelled, "You're an ass!"

I turned back around and walked away to my dorm. I felt furious and angry. Tom Riddle was a liar and a fucking monster.

I laid down in bed with my pajamas on under the silk covers. The minty smell of Tom's cologne was gone.

Pansy talked to me about the party that was happening next week for new years eve. A party would be held in the Slytherin common room. However I wasn't paying much attention.

It was a long night, but then soon I drifted to sleep.
