It is now breakfast time in the great hall. Every table filled with many foods; pancakes, toast with sizzling butter. Almost any breakfast food you can think of.

"What was that all about?" Pansy asked while  taking a piece of her pancake on her fork and puts it in her mouth.

"Huh?" I looked at her as I grab a few pieces of toast and put them on my plate.

"Back in the common room, with that guy. Was that the guy staring at you yesterday? Because he's looking at you again."

I turn around and scanned the table. Then I spotted him. Pansy was correct, he was looking at me with his usual unreadable expression. He had his arm around a Slytherin girl with platinum blonde hair and bright blue eyes.

I turn back to Pansy, "Yeah, uh....it was nothing."

"It was nothing," She raised her eyebrows, " Did you see the way he stopped you?"

"Again, it's nothing," I snapped and continued to eat my toast.

"Tell us Vic," Draco joins in, "Tell us what happened between you and him."

"I can't tell you, he wants it between him and I. Him and I only." I shake my head and looked over at Tom, who was smirking at the girl and putting his arm around her waist, disgusting.

"It's serious, I can't just tell by the way you're acting about this," Blaise nods his head as he thinks.

"I can't tell you guys. He said no." I snapped and slouched down in my seat.

"We won't tell anyone that you told us, please," Pansy begs, pouting at me.

I think for a second. He said that I couldn't tell anyone, but can he really tell me what to do?

"Fine," I give in, Pansy and the rest smile, "Meet me in the courtyard during lunch, no one goes there during lunch."

...

"Hey," I tell as I enter the court yard. Blaise, Pansy and Draco were already there waiting for me.

"Good, you're here. Now, tell us. What is with that boy?" Pansy asks, her arms crossed against her chest.

"Ok so last night I was in the common room because I couldn't sleep,"

"Mmmmmhmmmmm....continue," Pansy nods her head.

"Then I hear footsteps that seem to be getting closer every second. It was him."

"What's his name again," Blaise asked, leaning up against a wall.

"Tom, Tom Riddle," I sigh, "He then asks me why I'm in the common room. I tell him about my dream."

"Your dream?" Draco raised his eyebrow, he bites into his green apple, "You mean the dream with the snake? Why would you tell him about that?"

"I don't know, I just told him how I had a dream and he wanted to know all of the sudden," I nodded, "He asked if my mom was a muggle and I said yes. He then said that my mom must be an idiot, because she is a muggle," I rant, "Then I snapped at him and...that's that."

"But what happened this morning, when we were going to the great hall for breakfast," Pansy kicks a rock that had been resting by her foot.

"He pulled me aside, he told me he didn't want me to tell anyone about the situation," I put my hands in my pocket, "I don't know why, I mean it's not that important. It was just a small incident."

"Well that small incident got worse, now that you broke the promise," I turn around, it was Tom, he had his books in his one hand.

"What do you need now?" I shake my head, "I thought you said we shouldn't be talking. Why are you even talking to me?"
