OMG WE REACHED ONE THOUSAND READS AAAAAAAAAAAAA TYSM!!!!!
—————————————————————————The rest of the day went by like that. The last class I had today was Dark Arts. Great, now I had to see Tom. After I haven't seen him almost all day.
Dreadfully, I walked through the corridors and up several flights of stairs, knowing that I would probably be late and that Professor Snape wouldn't be happy.
I walked into the classroom. I was introduced by students eyes staring at me along with Professor Snape.
"Was there a problem, Larson?" Snape said cooly.
"N-No sir," I said after a few minutes, "I just got caught up with time that's it."
"Sit," He ordered. I walked over towards my seat, to my surprise, Tom wasn't there. Which was odd because he never missed a class. Except for the beginning of the year.
"Larson," I heard Snape's low voice catch my attention, "Have you by any chance seen Riddle roaming the corridors?"
"No sir," I answered while looking down.
"Very well, let's get started then. Turn to page 233 in you text books please." He lurked around the students desks and sometimes would take his wand out to turn to the page for other students.
Snape rapidly returned to his desk, his silk robe blowing lightly behind him as he walked. He sat down and took out his wand. His textbook flipped open to page 233.
Then the door swing open. Tom walked in looking at me then looking at Snape, "Excuse me Professor, I got lost..."
I looked at Tom's shirt closely. I noticed that a few of his buttons were unbuttoned, exposing his bare chest, I knew that he wasn't late. He was with a girl.
I'm not trying to sound jealous.
"Is that so," Snape said slowly, "Very well, sit down. Ten points from Slytherin because your two fellow classmates were late."
A few Slytherins that were in the room groaned and mummer things under your breath. I felt my cheeks turn bright red, knowing that I was the one of the students that was late.
Tom plops his books next to me and sits down, he leans over to see what page of the textbook we we're on.
"We're on page 233, Riddle," Snape muttered, "Maybe you would know if you weren't late."
Tom looked down at his textbook and flipped the pages until he was at page 233.
"Now that we're all here," Snape looks up at us, "I want you guys to read up to page 245 by Monday."
We had the rest of Dark Arts class to read and start on the homework, most of the class got their reading already done. Meanwhile, I couldn't focus.
I couldn't help to feel Tom's sharp stare stab into my back. Once in a while I would look over at Tom to see if he was staring. He was, but when he'd see me staring at me he would turn away and continue to read.
I didn't finish my homework in class, but I was planning to go to the library to finish up the homework and return a book.
"Class is dismissed," Snape says cooly and places his book down on his desk.
Students pilled out of the class. Tom and I were the last ones to leave. No matter how hard I tried to not look at him, I failed. I caught myself glancing over at him. His jet black hair combed nicely, his slytherin uniform with a few buttons undone.
