I spent the next day in my dorm, skipping my classes and even skipping my meals. Which was very unusual of me. Pansy and Draco would come around often throughout the day, trying to convince me that they weren't mad and that I shouldn't skip my classes. I ignored their words and stayed in bed all day.

I have tried to get my homework from yesterday done so I wouldn't get in trouble, but no matter how hard I tried I always ended up throwing my book across the room.

Even Tom tried to talk to me today. Or at least I think. I heard him and Pansy outside of the door.

"I need to talk to her Parkinson," Tom said desperately, "Please."

"She doesn't want to talk, Riddle," Pansy told Tom, frustration in her voice, "Just go away."

That's all I overheard from the conversation. I was actually glad that Pansy convinced him to go away. I don't think that talking to Tom would be the best thing to do at the moment. Considering all of the past arguments that we have had.

It was bow nighttime. Pansy was studying on her bed while trying to talk to me.

"Trust me, Vic. No one's mad at you. I'm not mad at you, Draco's not mad at you. No one is. We just want to help you." Pansy explains to me.

"Ok," I mumbled quietly.

"At least I got you to say one word to me," She giggled, "But please promise me that you'll go to your classes tomorrow."

"I don't know," I have none of my homework done," I shook my head, "I tried doing it a few times today, but I just ended up throwing my book across the room. I'm so frustrated, Pansy."

"I said I would help you," Pansy mumbles, "Well, that was before you know what happened. Maybe I could help you once I'm done with the potions homework."

"Ok," I mumbled.

Then there was a soft knock at the door. I lifed my head up to look at the door. I looked over at Pansy who was heading towards the door. She opened the door and stood there.

"Please let me talk to Victoria, Parkinson," Tom's familiar voice came from the door.

"I said no. She doesn't want to talk to you," Pansy said calmly.

"Pansy," I mumbled. Both of them looked at me. Tom's mouth opened, but then he closed it quickly.

"What," She said.

"Come,"'I motioned her to come over to me.

Pansy looked at me and then looked at Tom. She started walking over towards me, keeping close focus on Tom. He stood by the door, barley making a movement.

"I'm ready to talk to him," I announced.

"Are you sure, Vic," She whispered, I nodded my head. She looked over at Tom and gave him an irritated look.

"If you make her cry again, I swear you won't make out of this school alive," She threatened.

"Oh, I would love to see that happen, Parkinson," He smirked.

She rolled her eyes and looked back at me, "Ok, if you say so. You can go."

She looked at Tom, looking more irritated than before, "If you do-"

"Yeah, whatever," He rolled his eyes, "Let's go," He motions me out the door. I started walking slowly towards him. He closed the door behind us and turned to face me.

"Let's go somewhere private," He suggests, "How about my dorm?"

"O-Ok I guess," I shrugged, "Why not?"

We walked to his dorm in silence. I followed behind him. Once we got to his dorm, he opened the door, letting me into his dorm. I scanned his dorm to see that the sheets on his bed were unmade. Clothes were scattered on the floor. Papers were scattered over his desk in clusters.

"It's messy, I know," He mumbled, "iF you don't mind."

"I don't mind," I shrugged my shoulders.

"Sit," He sat down on his bed and patted the spot next to him. I slowly walked over to him, sutting down on his soft bed. He sat nest to me, looking into my eyes.

"Listen, Victoria," He starts, "We need to sort things out between us. If you know what I mean."

l nodded my head.

"The Yule Ball is in a week and-" He starts before I cut him off.

"IN A WEEK?!" I exclaim.

"Yes, now be quiet and let me talk," He said causing me to roll my eyes, "The Yule Ball is in a week. We need to sort things out between us. Maybe we should just leave everything behind in the past and try to forgive each other.

"Are you crazy," I asked him, my eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"No, well I am. We should really work things out. It will make things less awkward when we attend the Yule Ball together and after the Yule Ball."

"You we're a total ass to me before and bos you want us to make up," My blood started to boil, "No , I-I can't. I can't forgive you Tom." I stood on my feet before Tom grabbed my hand, pulling me down back onto the bed.

"Just listen to me," He starts, "I know that after we apologize to each other, if we apologize to each other ever. Things will definitely still be awkward between us. It will be best if we do because then you won't be a fucking crybaby anymore."

"A crybaby," I shook my head, "I'm not a crybaby."

"You cried the whole day," He rolled his eyes, "Just for now we should apologize, and after the Yule Ball you can hate me as much as you want. You can ignore me, on't care. It's just that the Yule Ball would be awkward if we are angry at each other."

"I might be crazy," I started, "But I actually agree with you. You have a good point."

"See? I'm always right," He smirked.

"Don't expect me to still like you after the Yule Ball, because I won't." I lectured him.

"I know, you can hate me after that," He chuckled, "Just for now let's not fight or anything like that, Deal?"

"Deal," I nodded my head. He held out his hand for me to shake, "Cheesy," I commented as I took his hand and shook it.

"You could go now if you want," He said after a few seconds of silence and staring at each other with awkward faces.

"Oh...ok," I stalled. I stood up off my bed, "Bye," I walked out of his dorm and headed back to my dorm.
