Anyways on with chapter 14

//////////////////////////////////////////

As I walked into my dorm, I was greeted by Pansy sitting on her bed reading a book.

"What happened?" Pansy closed her book and stood of her bed.

"It's nothing," I said in almost a whisper voice as I headed over to my bed. I pulled the sheets up over me.

"Something must've happened," Pansy sat on my bed, her hair in a messy bun and her pajamas on, "McGonagall called you into your office along with Tom and Draco, Draco told me his side of the story. What happened with you and Tom? Draco said that he left and You and Tom were still there."

I sighed, I know she was eager to find out what happened in McGonagall's office, but I really didn't feel like telling anyone about what happened in McGonagall's office. The whole word would probably be around the whole school tomorrow. Plus, it was about 1 AM and I just wanted to go to bed.

"Pansy, I have to wake up at 8 tomorrow, could I just tell you tomorrow?" I asked.

"Ok, promise you'll tell me tomorrow," Pansy held her pinky out, "I won't tell anyone."

"Yes," I chucked lightly and linked our pinkies together.

Pansy stands up and walks over to the light switch, she flips it so the light turns off. The room was pitch black. The moon was shinning through the windows.

Pansy walked to her bed and pulled the sheets over her, "Good night Vic."

"Goodnight Pansy," I said before turning around and closing my eyes.

...

I couldn't fall asleep last night. The thought of having to go to the yule ball with Tom was stabbing me in the head. If I just didn't go to Tom's dorm and stayed in my dorm nothing would have happened.

But it did and there was nothing I could do to stop it.

I was woken up by Pansy who was trying to shake me awake and yell into my ear.

"Come on Vic, wake up! We have to go to breakfast now." Pansy continues to shake me.

"Let me sleep," I groaned, "Give me five minutes."

"Breakfast happens in 10 minutes Vic. If I wake you up in 5 minutes you'll have 5 minutes to get ready. I don't want you to be late for breakfast or even skip breakfast," Pansy walls over to our closet and pulls out her Slytherin uniform.

"Fine," I grouched. I pull the sheets of my body and stand up off my bed and onto the dark wooded floor. I walked slowly over to the closet and pulled out what I thought was my Slytherin uniform. Turns out that it was just a dress.

I got changed into my uniform and put on a bit of concealer to hide the dark bags under my eyes. Then I finished it of with a small bit of mascara and chapstick. Once I was ready I met Pansy in the common room, she was talking to Draco and Blaise.

As I was about to walk over to them, I was stopped by Ryder.

He smiles at me, "Hey Vic, how are you?"

"Hey Ryder, I'm doing good," I smiled, "Listen, I'll talk later, I need to go tell Pansy something."

I started walking before I was stopped by Ryder again.

"I'm not letting you go until I get my morning kiss," He smiles.

I rolled my eyes. Of course I loved Ryder, he was a nice looking guy with good grades and an irresistible smile, but there was one thing about him. He was very clingy. It felt like ever since we started dating he has ben holding me back from who I wanted to hang out with and what I wanted to do.

"Ok," I planted a small kiss on his cheek, "Love you baby." I said before walking off towards Pansy, Draco and Blaise.

Their eyes turned to me, I sighed, "He can get so clingy at times. It's getting annoying."

"Just tell him that you can't be with him all the time and that you want to do other things," Blaise suggest.

Maybe I will do that.

"So tell us," Pansy started looking at Draco and I, "What happened with Tom last night?"

I looked behind me to make sure no one was listening, then I looked back, "Promise you won't tell anyone?"

Pansy and Blaise nodded their heads. Draco and I looked at each other than back.

"We were taken to McGonagall's office last night," Draco started, "I explained to her why I started beating up Tom. After that she dismissed me and took 5 points from Slytherin. That's all that happened for me really. I just left leaving Victoria and Tom."

"What's your side of the story?" Pansy asked.

I looked at all of them and took a deep breath, hopefully no one was listening, "After Draco left McGonagall's office, she told us that she noticed tension between Tom and I. So she asked us what we could do to resolve the tension between us. Tom suggested that we just ignore each other, but McGonagall said that that wouldn't resolve the situation."

"So what did she end up doing?" Pansy asks.

I took a deep breath before opening my mouth, "I have to attend the yule ball with him."

Pansy gasps, "She didn't-"

I nodded, "She did. Now I can't go to the ball with Ryder."

"At least you'll see him there," Blaise shrugged his shoulders.

"Yeah," I crossed my arms against my chest, "I just can't believe that I have to attend the yule ball with him now."

"Does Ryder know yet?" Draco asks me.

"Nope," I shook my head slowly, "I'm planning on telling him today though. He'll be mad."

"Yep," Pansy nods here head slowly, "Come on guys, we should go to breakfast." Pansy walls out of the common room, Draco, Blaise and I follow behind her.

As we walked swiftly down the halls and down the several flights of stairs we eventually made it to the great hall.

As we walked into the great hall, I could feel everyone staring at me. Their eye contact stabbed me as I walked to the Slytherin table slowly.

The whole school knew. The word has been spread. Everyone know what happened between Tom and I last night.

"It's ok Vic," Pansy interrupts my thoughts and places her hand on top of mine, "Just ignore them, the rumors will be dead soon."

"Yeah, the rumors will definitely fade away quickly, they'll go away quickly because I was involved in a fight." I said sarcastically.

"Look," Pansy sighs, "I know that you were involved in a fight last night. The word may be around the whole school, but it's not as serious as you think."

"Has anyone ever spread a rumor about you getting into a fight Pansy? I don't think so." I snapped, causing Pansy to go silent.

I sighed, "Sorry Pansy, I'm just stressed that's all."

"I get it," She smiles, "Just try not to think about it. I promise that the word will die soon."

"Thanks Pansy," I softly smiled at her before buttering a piece of toast.

I knew she was right. It's just a rumor, it's not like I was the one who was involved in the physical part of the fight.

The doors of the great hall swung open in anger. It was Tom. His hair was messy unlike usual. He was wearing his usual. uniform and his eyes were very red.

The whole great hall went silent, their attention was taken to Tom. The sounds of whispering filled the room as Tom walked over to the Slytherin table and sat down. He opened the book he was holding in his hands and started reading it.

My eyes focused on Tom. His face had an unreadable expression as he flipped through the pages of the book.

It took me a few seconds to realize that he was looking at me too. Once our eyes met I turned away and began eating my piece of toast. I sighed.

I had to go to the yule ball with this devil.
