While doing last nights homework with Pansy, I couldn't stop thinking about what happened with Tom in his dorm. It actually made me feel different about him. I know I said that before, but now I admit it. I did feel a little different about him.

"Ok, what's up?" Pansy furrowed her eyebrows after explaining a question to me, "You seem...off. What happened with Riddle?"

"Nothing," I shook my head.

"Something definitely happened, Victoria," She reassured, "What's going on?"

"I think I do feel different about Tom," I nodded my head.

"You what? Victoria, remember what happened yesterday?" She asked, "He was being a literal ass to you."

"I know, but we're leaving that in the past," I explained.

"In the past?" She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, "Victoria what are you talking about?"

"Tom and I agreed to leave our arguments in the past," I explained to her, "At least for now. At least up to the Yule Ball."

"So...." She smirked evilly, "Seems like you have a little crush I see?"

"I feel different about him," I smiled, "But not in that way. After the Yule Ball will be back the way that we we're before. Enemies."

"With benifits," Pansy smirked, I hit her arm playfully.

"Shut up." I shook my head while chuckling, "I know we're going to forgive each other for now, but that doesn't mean I have a thing for him. It was his idea actually. I was crazy enough to agree with him."

"I don't know, Victoria," Pansy shook her head, "I feel like this will be more than an apology."

"No, absolutely not," I shook my head, "Could we get back to homework? I'm starting to get tired."

"Ok," She smiled and continued explain the homework to me.

Once we we're done Pansy and I changed into our pajamas and went to bed. Pansy fell asleep quickly. Me on the other hand stayed awake. Staring at the blank ceiling, my mind was focused on Tom.

I couldn't help but feel different about him. I said it before, but I was to embarrassed to admit it. Now I could admit it.

I felt different towards Tom Riddle.

...

After being completely drowned in my thoughts, Thursday has already come. I woke up right away, got changed into my uniform for the day, and started to head down to breakfast with Pansy.

"How are you feeling?" She asks me.

The memory from last night reentered my mind. I remembered what had happened with Riddle last night. I had been thinking all about it last night and forgot about it in the morning.

"I'm good," I smiled, "I almost forgot what happened yesterday, but yeah I'm good."

"Good," She smiled, "Just making sure."

The rest of the day went by as a normal day. The Yule Ball was just around the corner and the word was around school. Every one was talking about it. Every student were preparing their dress robes and dresses for the ball. Teachers were talking about it often during classes, reminding the students that The Yule Ball was coming up soon.

As the day went on I completed all of my classes and all of my homework, leaving me some extra time to go to the library.

I walked past the students, through the corridors and down several flights of stairs. Then I was at the library; my comfort place.
