That day goes by quickly. Alex tried to talk to me, but I ignored him. At this point I really wanted nothing to do with him. I guess the others found out what happened because they were ignoring him too. The only question I had was; How did they find out? Did Alex admit to it? But then it hit me.

Tom was the one that knew before anyone else. Pansy must've noticed that I was acting off so she went to Tom for answers.

Later that day while Pansy and I were doing homework, I decided to ask her.

"Why have you been ignoring Alex all day?" I asked randomly while she was explaining the ingredients of a polyjuice potion to me. She looked up from her book and furrowed her eyebrows slightly.

"I knew something went on between you and Alex last night. I went to Tom to see if he knew. I know everything, Victoria." She explained.

I knew it.

"Why were you asking?" She questioned me.

"Just a random thought. I noticed how you and the others were ignoring him today." I shrugged my shoulders.

"Oh yeah, me and the others know," She nodded and continued to explain the polyjuice potion, reading from her potions book.

I roamed through my thoughts. I haven't heard from Tom since the incident last night. Was he mad at me?

Then it hit me like a rock to the head. Last night when Alex and Tom were fighting, Alex said that I could never love a man like Tom. Maybe that's why he pushed me away.

I did love Tom. And it was hard not to. Even though he was an ass to almost everyone, he did have his moments. Helping me after I was hurt at the Yule Ball for example.

After we finished studying potions we headed down for dinner. I loaded some chicken wings onto my plate and started eating. I scanned the Slytherin table, No sight of Tom. He hasn't been around all day. I couldn't help but wonder what he has been doing all day.

After dinner we all headed back up to the Slytherin common room. Everyone sat in the common room and talked to each other. Meanwhile, I snuck up to the boys dormitories. I walked up to Tom's dorm and knocked on the door.

After a few seconds, there was still no answer. I went to fo knock on the door, but the door swung open rapidly. He looked horrible. His eyes were blood shot, his hair was all messy in his face. He had an angry expression on his face.

"Tom?" I furrowed my eyebrows, "Is everything okay?" I asked him.

He slammed the door right in my face, but I pushed it before it could close. I walked into his room without saying a word.

"Go away." He mumbled in between clenched teeth.

"Tom, tell me, what is-" I looked over to his desk to see an almost empty bottle of alcohol sitting there, a small cup sitting next to it. I walked over to it and picked it up.

"Did you drink all of this Tom?" I said while showing him the bottle.

"Well duh, I'm the only one in this room. Who else would drink it?" He slurred his words together.

I placed the bottle back down on the table and walked over to him, "Tom, stop this. This isn't good. Why did you do this?"

"Why do you care?" He snapped, "You don't even love me anyways."

I felt myself freeze in my tracks for a second. I was right. Tom believed Alex's words. That I could never love someone like him. Alex's words weren't true at all, I do love Tom.

"Tom, come lay down with me." I ordered him while sitting down on his bed.

"No," He shook his head, "I just need...one more drink." He stumbled towards the desk, almost falling to the floor.

"Tom stop this!" I snapped. He turned around quickly to look at me. I was now off the bed, standing across the room from him.

"No more Tom. Okay?" I shook my head, "Listen to me! It's not good! I hate seeing you like this Tom, okay? I hate it. No more!"

I walked over to the desk and grabbed the alcohol and cup, "Now, I'm going to go get rid of these. I want you in bed."

"Whatever," He crossed his arms across his chest.

"Did you have this anywhere before Tom?" I asked him.

He lazily pointed over to an empty corner with nothing in it. Which I doubt is where he stored it, but it'll work for now. I placed it in the corner and walked back over to Tom, "Get dressed Tom. You need to get in bed."

"No," He argued.

"If you go to bed, you'll feel much better in the morning Tom." I urged.

He sighed angrily and picked up some sweatpants that were sitting on the floor, "Turn around!" He snapped.

"Okay, calm down." I rolled my eyes and turned around to the opposite way. After a few seconds he told me to turn back around. He was now wearing just sweatpants with no shirt, showing off his toned torso.

I walked over to the bed and lied down on one side, "Come lay down." I ordered him, "You'll feel better in the morning. You just need rest."

He sighed angrily and started walking towards the bed. He lied down next to me, facing away from me. I started to run my fingers through his hair, but he pulled away.

"Don't do that." He snapped.

"Tom, look at me." I whispered, "Just for a second."

He sighed angrily again and turned around to face me. He had his eyebrows furrowed in a frustrated expression, "What?" He muttered.

"Please don't do this again. I hate seeing you like this."

He said nothing. He lied down on the bed next to me without making a single movement.

"Please?" I asked.

I couldn't tell exactly but I was almost 99.9 percent sure that he nodded his head yes. His eyes started to become heavy. I pulled the sheets over him and turned off the light.

"Goodnight Tom." I got under the covers as well.

"Goodnight."
