I stayed in my dorm the rest of the evening. The only time that I traveled out of my dorm was to go to dinner. The rest of that time I spent in my dorm, overthinking about every single thing that has happened the past month or two.
First it starts with me going to Tom's dorm to confront him and Draco and him getting into a fight. Then my boyfriend who is now my ex slapped me and made up after a long time of ignoring each other to breaking up about a week or two later. Now everything was a complete mess.
I couldn't focus on my homework. No matter how many times I tried to think about the homework, my mind would always go back to Tom.
Ever since he told me that I should stop ignoring him I have felt a bit different about him you could say. Although, I still felt the same way as before. It was almost like I was changing. Every time his name would enter my head I felt like I was floating.
Maybe I was developing feelings for him? No, couldn't be, or maybe...
I flopped back down onto my bed, covering my face with my hands in frustration. My thoughts we're too mixed up right now, I should talk to Pansy.
Quickly I headed out of our dorm and into the common room where I saw her last. I scanned the room to find that Pansy wasn't there.
I felt my stomach twist and turn, I needed to talk to her.
Maybe she was with Draco.
I went up to the boys dormitories and knocked on Draco and Blaise's door. Draco opened the door, Pansy was sitting on his bed. Blaise was bo where to be seen.
"Hey guys," I said anxiously, "Where's Blaise?"
"He's 'studying' with a girl right now I thi-" He stops and furrows his eyebrows, "Are you okay, Victoria? You're acting kind of weird."
"That's because I feel weird," I said nervously while fidgeting with my clammy hands, "It's about Tom. I need to talk to someone about so I decided to come and find Pansy."
"And not me?" He raised his eyebrows and smirked.
"You can join if you want," I playfully rolled my eyes and entered his dorm. He closed the door behind him. We all sat down on his bed. Both Draco and Pansy were looking at me.
"So...is everything okay?" Pansy asks, "You mentioned something about Tom, Did something happen between you two?"
"Y-Yes," I stuttered, my legs started to shake uncontrollably, "I was in the library today trying to get thoughts off my mind. As it was looking through the books on the shelves I pulled one out and there was a gap between the shelf. Tom was standing there with a book in his hands."
"Okay, this was in the library correct, what section," Pansy asks.
"Couldn't recall," I shrugged, "Anyways, Tom saw me so I put the book back to cover up the gap between us so he wouldn't see me. He came up to me and told me that I had to stop ignoring him and...that's that I guess. I don't know it's just that after that occurred I've been feeling different towards him."
"Different?" Draco furrowed his eyebrows, "How would you say different?"
"Wait...guys do you hear that?" Pansy asks, stopping us from talking.
There was banging on the walks next door. We could all hear the mumbling of Tom. He must be angry again.
"Guys...what if he overhears?" I asked.
"Let's go to our dorm," Pansy suggests looking towards me, "He won't hear us there, but why is it so important, he probably won't hear you because he's mumbling so loudly."
