About an hour passed. I still couldn't sleep. I was sitting in the Slytherin common room while reading a book that I gotten from the library yesterday. The book was on famous wizards that lived in the past.

"So you're dating Skyes," A voice from behind made me jump in fear. It was none other than Tom Riddle.

"Jesus you scared me," I placed a hand on my chest, my heart was beating almost as fast as when Ryder kissed me.

"Well you would have known that I came down here if you didn't have your head buried into a book all the time," He mutters.

"Well who I'm dating is none of your business," I looked back into my book.

"I was just asking a question, chill out," He chuckles evilly.

"Well, to inform you,no, were not." I shook my head side to side.

""Then explain why you kissed him," He crossed his arms over on his chest and sat down next to me.

"How do you know?" I exclaim while storming off the couch, "You shouldn't have been snooping on us."

"Calm down, please-"

I cut him off, "Just leave me alone Tom, I-"

He grabs me by the shoulders and looks me in the eyes.

"Let go, Tom," I ordered while trying to hold back my anger.

"I didn't snoop on you and your boyfriend, He-" He starts before I cut him off again.

"He's not my boyfriend, we-" He covers my mouth with is hand. The coldness of his rings touch my lips.

"Will you stop inturupting me every 5 seconds," He mutters between. clenched teeth, "Your going to get us into trouble, now listen."

He slowly removes his hand from my mouth, "He walked up to the boys dormitories and started talking about you, I heard the word kiss so I was like 'oh they must be dating now.'"

"Well for your information, We aren't dating we're just friends." I blushed.

"Hmmm...." He nods his head slowly, "Just friends I see, you should be careful around him."

"Woah, so now your telling me who to date. Are you jealous," I pointed my finger to his chest.

"Of course I'm not jealous," He snapped.

"Well you shouldn't tell me who to date," I exclaim, "Now if you excuse me," I escaped his grip and started walking towards the girls dormitories. I am stopped by him grabbing my arm.

"One more thing, I-" He starts before I cut him off.

"I want nothing to do with you!" I announce.

"Just listen to me once will you?" He sighs, "I just wanted to-apologize for calling you out. For having muggle parents."

"You aren't sorry. I can see it in your face," I shook my head in disapproval, "I only have one parent, my mom-"

"Well both of my parents are gone!" He exclaims.

My eyes widened, did he just say that both of his parents were gone? Did he mean like dead? Did his parents not want him anymore?

"What?" I asked, my voice almost becoming a whisper.

He thinks for a second and realized what he said, "I shouldn't have said that."

"Tom-" I asked.

"Just go," He puts his hand up to my face.

"Tom, I-"

"Just go," He snapped. I could see his emotions, mixed of both angry and upset.

I opened my mouth, then closed it. I did as he said and went to my dorm.

I couldn't believe what he said.
