I spent that Sunday doing homework and studying in the library. I haven't even finished a little bit of homework over the weekend and left it to the last minute. Although I wasn't surprised, it's normal for me to do homework at the last minute.
The the last week of November went by right before my eyes, then December came. Snow started falling out of the sky and onto the grass, covering up it's usual green color.
The cold air would nip at my skin every time I went outside to take a walk or just hang around in the courtyard with Pansy.
The good thing is that Ryder and I have been on good terms since we apologized. We haven't had any fights or arguments for about a week which made me feel more confident in our relationship then before. The last week of November we went to quidditch together as a small date.
Then after that we went to the great hall to have dinner together while he would compliment me on how good my hair looked or how he admired his eyes, which made me smile of course.
Tom hasn't really done much since Sunday. The only time I would see him is during our free hours and classes, which is pretty much the whole day.
Every once in a while I would catch him staring at me, his cold eyes gave me a stabbing pain. He hasn't talked to me, he would just give me glares every so often.
I've always looked forward to December every year for as long as I could remember, but this year something felt different.
The Yule Ball. I have to go to the Yule Ball with Tom.
The thought of having to go to the dance with the devil (also known as Tom) made me shutter. Every time i thought about dancing with him would make me anxious.
"Hey, are you ok," Pansy asks me as she finishes her slice of toast. It was Thursday, one of my least favorite days because I alway get it confused for Friday. We we're finishing breakfast for the day before we had to go our separate ways to class, "You seem off," She adds on.
"Just tired that's all," I lied while looking down at my lap, "I'm fine Pansy."
"Ok, just making sure," She whispered quietly.
"Hey....Larson," I heard a deep familiar accent from behind me. I turned around to see Tom alreafy wearing his uniform.
He looks the same everyday I swear to god. He usually wears a white button up with a tie with green and silver stripes. Over that he usually wears a gray knotted vest and gray trousers and his robe over that.
I sighed, "What Riddle?"
"Come," He motioned me to stand up, "I need to talk to you for a second. It's about the Yule Ball."
I look at him with a puzzled expression then looked back at Pansy with the same expression on my face. She shrugged her shoulders. I sighed and stood up out of my seat.
I followed Tom out of the great hall in silence. He led me down the halls and then stopped. I leaned up against the wall, he stood in front of me with his hands in the pockets if his robe.
"So what did you want to say to say to me," I gulped, "About the Yule Ball."
He looked at me for a few seconds, his dark eyes glittered in the candlelight, "I know you've been thinking about the Yule Ball, Vic."
I looked at him with a shocked expression, then I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, "How do you know what I feel." I pointed my finger to his chest, he moved away from me quickly.
"Don't touch me," He ordered
"Whatever," I rolled my eyes.
"I've seen the way you've been looking. You look almost...upset," He sighs, "Is it because the Yule Ball stressing you out?"
