The rest of the day went on. Everything was normal except for everyone staring at me this morning and in the halls. I walked with my head down the whole day. The eyes of students still felt like a stab in the back as I walked down the hallways. Some people even came up to me and asked me about the fight. I would always turn them away and tell them that it's none of their business.

I barely saw Tom today. The only time I saw him was this morning and in Dark Arts. His hair stayed messy throughout the day, and his eyes were less red.

But I wasn't thinking about Tom, well I was. I was thinking about him partially. I was thinking about how I could tell Ryder about the yule ball situation without him getting upset.

Should I meet him in the library? Should I meet him in the court yard? Should we meet in one of our dorms?

Maybe the common room wouldn't be such a bad idea.

No, people will be there. People will overhear everything.

Meeting in our dorms would probably work out the best since it would be way more private. No one should hear us.

"Class dismissed," Snape announced and sat down at his desk. Students pulled out of the classroom in a herd.

I walked out of Snape's classroom quietly, with my books held tightly against my chest.

I was stopped by a random hufflepuff student. She wore the hufflepuff robe with her blonde hair up in a messy bun.

"What happened between you and-" She started before I cut her off.

"Listen, I don't want to be rude or anything, but I really don't want to talk about it," I said kindly.

"Understood," She nodded her head slowly and continued to walk down the hall.

I walked out into the courtyard. The cool late October breeze blows lightly. I took a deep breath in and then took a deep breath out.

Luna said she would meet me in the same place as we did when we first met. I entered the forest and walked for a few minutes. Taking twists and turns, I was finally there.

"Hey Luna," I smiled at her and sat down beside her on the ground.

"Hey Victoria, how are you?" She asked, "I heard about the rumors, and that why I asked you to meet you down here. Well partially. I just want to chat that's all."

I looked at Luna with an unreadable expression. I know I said that I didn't want to talk about it, but she's my friend and she deserves to know what happened.

"Unless you don't want to talk about it...." Luna looks forward into the lake, "That's fine."

"No Luna, your good. I'll tell you," I took a deep breath before opening my mouth again, "So last night here was a fight between Tom Riddle and Draco Malfoy. You know who those people are right?"

She nods her head.

"Good, so Snape and McGonagall came down when Blaise told them about the fight. So they came down to the fight scene and pulled them away from each other. McGonagall dismissed everyone to bed and took us three; Tom, Draco and I to her office. Draco explains why he started the fight and he was dismissed. 5 points were taken from Slytherin."

"So what happened to you and Tom after Draco left?" Luna asks me.

"McGonagall admitted that she's known that we had a rough relationship," I explained, "Tom and I have to attend the yule ball together."

"You're joking, right?" She asks me.

I shook my head no and covered my face in my hands in stress. All of the sudden I felt Luna wrap her arms around me.
