As he dragged me to the common room, I only had one thought in mind. Why was he so worried about it? He's never cared for anyone, not even the girls he've hooked up with in the past.
It felt weird to me that for the past few days we've actually talked and acted normal around each other. It almost felt normal.
We have entered the common room, he sat me down on the couch and disappeared into the boys dormitories. What was he doing?
I started to touch the cut, observing every small detail of it. The blood has dried up into a dark red color.
"Stop touching it," I heard Tom from across the room. I turned around to see Tom walking towards me with his wand, "It'll just hurt more."
Tom sat down next to me on the sofa, "Can I have your arm?" He asked. I nodded and he took my arm, carefully observing it, "Who did this to you?"
I stayed silent, I looked down at the floor and began squeezing the cushion of the sofa anxiously in my fists. I glared up at Tom, who was waiting for a response.
"You have to talk to someone you know," He told me, "Come on. Talk to me," He ordered as he took my jaw in his hands and faced me towards him.
"It was Ryder," I breathed out. I looked back down at the ground nervously. What was he going to do? It seems like every time Ryder does something he tries to get up in my business.
Tom sat still and silently, thinking for a minute about what to say, "I can fix your arm," He said.
I looked back up at him, he wasn't angry, sad or anything. He was just neutral. He had the type of expression on his face like the time I first saw him.
"Let me," He said as he took my arm in his hand, carefully stroking the cut.
"Ouch..." I mumbled.
"Does it hurt when I touch it?" He asked.
"Yes," I nodded slowly.
He took his finger of my cut and leaned over to grab his wand which was lying next to him. He put the wand up to my cut and said, "Vulnera Sanentut."
"Ow..." I mumbled after a few seconds.
"It will only hurt for a second, Victoria," He told me, "Just breath."
I looked back down at the cut to see that my skin was back to normal. There was no cut there anymore. It had disappeared, just like magic.
I looked up at Tom in amazement, "Wow, h-how did you do that?" I asked him.
"It's called a spell darling," He smirked, "I just learn things from library books that's all."
"Wow," I mumbled, "Well, thank you."
"Well, uh..." Tom started, "I just wanted to l-let you know that." He started, but then stopped after a few seconds of thought.
"You want me to know what?" I looked over at him with my eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"N-Nothing," He told me, "It's not important, never mind. Just forget about it."
"You were obviously trying to tell me something important," I crossed my arms against my chest, "I won't get mad or anythi-"
"I said nothing," He muttered angrily under his breath.
"You can tell me you know," I gripped onto the skirt of my dress anxiously, "I won't get mad or anything I pro-"
"Forget it!" He yelled, "It's not important to me anymore." He started walking of towards the boys dormitories, but I stopped him by grabbing his hand and whirling him around.
