Juli's POV:

I gotta put it out there, it's definitely sickening to see your boyfriend with his old crush. I then remembered Riley telling me all about how they were inseparable and how much they understood each other back then.

Bryce was my first. But I doubt I was his. And I could tell you straight from experience that letting go of your first is never easy. Nearly impossible. Now, there's a problem you don't see everyday. But the problem I should be dealing with was how to solve for x in a mathematical statement. But somehow complexed Algebra didn't seem so important.

I sat in the reading nook area. My left arm was up, carrying my heavy head while my right hand scribbled along the margins of my note book.

But suddenly I heard a knock on my bedroom window.

"Bryce? What are you doing here?" I opened the window. Though I felt sudden regret thinking that I should've kept the glass surface between us. He pushed a foot forward, gripping tightly on the wall. "You haven't answered the question."

"You still want to clear the air in our relationship?"

He got me there. I looked down, rubbed an arm and mumbled, "You know I do."

"I do too," he spread his arms wide open before I ran in to be locked in his embrace.

"Let's get things straight," he stated after we parted and began to sat on the foot of my bed. "Stella is different. I mean, she's not as bad as you think she is. She's..."

It was like my hearing senses were blocked out because he spoke through, I know he did. His lips were moving but I just couldn't believe what I'm hearing. He was telling me that that brat wasn't as bad as I thought? Right after we patched things up? First day. The first day she showed up she tried to take Bryce for herself. Plus, he's telling me this to clear things up? How?

"Babe?" He waved a hand right in front of my eyes that snapped me out to reality.

"Yeah," I sat up straight

"So, as I was saying, if you got to know her truly, you'll realize that both of you are really alike. I mean, we could all start over and I could introduce you to her. How's that sound?" He looked at me with excitement in his eyes.

"Uhm, you know what it's kind of... Too soon?"

"Oh... No, I understand. I just wanted the both of you to get along."

Why? I questioned myself.

"So, you need help?"

"Uh, what?"

"You seem pretty cooped up over there."

"Uh, yeah. Math."

"You're lucky that's the subject I got to attend today," he laughed. But I kept a serious one.

"We haven't actually talked about you're absence," I brought up, disregarding the homework.

"Oh," His gazed shifted down. "I stayed up late last night stressing over you and Collins," he admitted.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to let it come down to that," I wrapped my arm around his and rested my head on his shoulder. "What should I do?"

"I mean, I couldn't actually tell you specifically what you can and cannot but I'd really appreciate it if you guys kept a little distance."

I nodded in response.

He helped me with my homework after that. Or rather, he did most of it really. I was absolutely drained.
