9:13 am"So Mr. Brown, these are some heavy allegations." Maurice nodded his head, sitting up straight in the stand.
"You a damn fool if you think I couldn't figure that out for myself." Robyn rolled her eyes at Maurice's attitude. He didn't know how to act anywhere, a court room clearly was no different for him.
"You should watch it sir, someone who may be convicted for murder should have a little more respect than that. But anyways, where were you on the night of the incident?" Maurice stroked his goatee, a small smirk spreading on his face. Robyn's heart dropped once his eyes flicked to her, she knew whatever he was about to say would be foul and inappropriate.
"I was balls deep in my wife." The entire courtroom gasped, their attention going straight to Robyn who's face turned beet red. She tried her best to ignore all the looks and just stare forward at Maurice who sat cackling.
"Order!" The judge called out, hitting her gavel against the stand she sat in. Tia gave Maurice a warning glance, his nonchalant and ignorant behavior wouldn't get them anywhere.
"My fault, but nah that's really what I was doing." The lawyer nodded and turned to walk towards the table that his folders were on. He shuffled through them for a minute before grabbing two pictures.
"Can I ask how many cars you own and each of the license plate numbers." Maurice tilted his head slightly, his face going completely blank. This was the dumbest question he ever heard in his life.
"I own a good 10 cars, including the 2 that my girl basically stole." All eyes fell on Robyn again, making her release a deep sigh. Not only was she already looking like a sex toy, but now the people thought she was a thief. "Y'all better not be judging her, she ain't steal the damn cars...I was being sarcastic. Stop staring at her like that, the hell." Maurice spoke out to the little crowd. Tia turned her head to look back, looking at Robyn with disgust.
"Mr. Brown, you are not to address the courtroom. Now answer the question posed." Maurice rolled his eyes and threw up his hands lazily.
"Look, I don't know all them license plate numbers and you got me fuck- messed up if you think I'm bout to rack my brain to think of all of them." The lawyer paced around in front of Maurice, shaking his head with the papers still in his hand.
"Well, do you own either of these 2 cars?" Maurice leaned up, getting a good look at the 2 cars in the picture that sat on the stand. He nodded his head, seeing a black Huracan identical to his.
"I got that black Huracan, my girl got the white lambo truck." The lawyer nodded and scooped up the pictures again. Robyn peered over, her palms getting a little sweaty at the mention of her car. She knew for a fact she was nowhere near the scene, nor was her car because she had it that night.
