"Robyn, he put his fucking hands on you-."
"I cheated on him." She blurted out, slowly raising her head to look at Marie who sat taken back. She made a face, but wiped it off as quick as it came about. She wasn't one to judge anybody because she wasn't God and that wasn't her place, but this was some heavy information.
"You did what?!" She whisper yelled, grabbing Robyn's arm to pull her away from the crowd of people they stood among. Robyn glanced back to see Maurice was already staring at her before he turned around and adjusted his white suit.
They were at a function, it was an event hosted by this one rich white man who owned many different franchises. This also happened to be where Maurice got his legal money from, he was one of the investors along with a partner. He didn't work too much with the company, but he always came out to the events because he had to.
"I know, I know It's fucked up and it was a mistake. He walked in on me kissing Aubrey, but I'm fine. I expected much worse than just a little backhand, besides I can't be upset because I've done the same to him. When he did that mess with Desi, I literally fought him." Robyn explained, looking around the empty hallway to make sure Marie was the only person in ear's reach.
"Didn't I tell your ass about making friends, now look. So what did Maurice do with him?" Marie felt this situation was dumb, but she couldn't help but to be invested. Especially because Maurice, Don, and Blade had them at this boring event for 2 hours already. Teyana was supposed to be there also to hang on Blade's arm, but she wasn't feeling well.
Robyn glanced around again, making sure nobody was coming. She made eye contact with a security camera, but she could tell it didn't have a microphone attached. Looking around one last time, she double checked to make sure there was nothing possibly listening.
"He shot him up, but I think Aubrey was trying to shoot at him first but you know Maurice." Marie grit her teeth together. She couldn't say she cared because she really didn't know Aubrey, but it was a little unfortunate.
"So he's dead." Robyn shook her head, leaning up against the wall directly across from Marie.
"I thought he was dead, he looked dead, hell he sounded dead. But after Maurice hit me, he told me to get ice for my face and I did what he said. But bitch when I got down there, there wasn't no body there." Marie widened her eyes, clasping her hand over her mouth.
"I know you fucking lying, where the hell he go?!" Marie crossed her arms and tilted her head, furrowing her eyebrows a little bit. Robyn threw her arms up lazily while shrugging.
