"Come here." His voice was cold and serious, nearly causing chills down Robyn's spine if she wasn't just like him. The grip he held on her wrist forced her to stay standing in place, not even bothering to turn her head to look at him.
"Can you stop touching me Maurice." She spat, but made no attempts to move her arm away. It wouldn't be worth her time, she would lose that battle and they both knew that. He stared at her for a second before pulling her into him, causing her to be positioned between his legs.
"Look at me." He reached his hand up to grip her face in his right hand, turning her head so that her eyes were looking directly into his. "Those niggas don't give a fuck bout you Rob-."
"And you do?! You threatened to pull a damn trigger on me. You should be the last motherfucker telling me bout who gives a fuck bout me or not." His hand dropped from her face, but their eyes never left each other.
"But I didn't pull it cause I care bout you Rih. Fuck all that other shit bruh, before everything it was me and you." She rolled her eyes, unfazed by everything leaving his mouth. Deep down, she wanted to wrap both arms around him and break down, but she couldn't. That would be both of their lives.
"You don't care and I don't expect you to. I put you in jail, why are you concerned with me." He stared into her eyes as her's shifted everywhere else. He knew something was off. With the type of shit he did, something he's learned to do naturally was read people.
"You think I'm fucking dumb?!" Beginning to get agitated, he brought his hand down to now rest on her waist in a tight manner. She looked at him with a straight face, her cherry red lipstick being on full display.
"I think you're fucking crazy and you need to leave me the hell alone." She grit, snatching her arm away from him. "Me and you? Dead that shit, see me as your enemy." Ace looked at her with a somewhat confused look which was slowly blinded by anger. Robyn looked at him, hopeful that he would sense something was wrong without her verbally saying it. But from the way he stopped persisting towards her, and how dark and soulless his eyes became...she knew she was fucked.
"You want me to see you as your enemy." He slowly repeated, more to himself rather than her. Robyn watched him closely, her green eyes burning a hole in his skin as she took slow steps back. She watched him turn slightly to grab his beretta, and that's when she made a run for it.
She didn't get far being that he was bigger and faster than her. His right hand tightly wrapped around her neck from behind before he pulled her back. Having all control over her small frame from his hand on her allowed him to slightly turn her and slam her into the closest wall. She let out a small wince from the pain. The darkness in the room wasn't enough to stop his face from illuminating when he slowly looked up at her.
Her left hand held onto the hand he had wrapped around her. The grip he held was too tight for comfort, but she knew more than enough than she needed to know when in this type of position. He'd taught her so much...more than what he probably remembered.
"Since you wanna play like you the enemy and shit. I should just kill you right here right?!" Robyn kept her mouth shut but her eyes remained focused on him. Her mind focused on her steady breathing, knowing any panic would put her in a position where her life would really be on the line.
